everything you have heard about this movie is true.

The first must-see film of the year.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

All 24 is pure gold! 24 Live Another Day is a must watch, after the original series of course! It's amazing to see Jack Bauer, the greatest action hero ever, back to save the world and innocent lives. Old favorites are back as well as an amazing villain with a fresh plot. You won't be disappointed in 24: Live Another Day!

3 years after the event in New York, Jack Bauer has come out of hiding in London, when he learns of a plot to kill the United States President. Live Another Day appears to be a one shot deal, but as we've seen, the shows popularity means there is always a chance it will pop up again. While Fox has said nothing about the future of the show, Live Another Day did average over 10 million viewers an episode. As I do, I'm sure those fans are hoping that number leads to either the series coming back, a feature film, or simply more mini-series. It's hard to imagine 24 taking place in another country and in just 12 episodes, but it didn't matter one bit, because of Kiefer Sutherland. The often criticized actor has found the Midis touch when it comes to Jack Bauer. I mean seriously, have you ever heard of a show that can completely change cast and location every season and still manage to survive? The cast, the location, even the date doesn't matter, because it has been and always will be about Jack Bauer. In a strange twist, as kind of a thank you to the fans, many characters from previous seasons have returned for the mini-series, and it only made it that much more enjoyable. Live Another Day features the same Jack, who really hasn't lost a step. It also comes with everything you came to expect from 8 seasons of the hit show. Live Another Day may only have been half as long as the other seasons, but it rivals every single one of them. If you're a fan or even a casual viewer of the show, give yourself a treat and sit down for 12 new episodes of this timeless television classic!

When years ago, our national TV aired a season of 24 (not the 1st, 3rd or 4th), I became really amazed how intense and different it was, and by now I have watched all seasons in chronological order. And I still love it; it does not matter than there are several unreal scenes, main characters do not have time to eat or relieve themselves, and the themes are similar and seem to derive from Cold War... Tensions are high, chases are carried out interestingly, characters have multiple agendas, actors are far above average; all this refers also to 24: Live Another Day, including Stephen Fry as the British Prime Minister Alastair Davies - a brave and good choice. Some say that there is too much focus on technology and intelligence equipment - but so are in different CSI-s, plus there are dozens of popular series out there where the protagonist has supernatural powers... I would definitely prefer a "normal" fighter for justice.Well, the title should be 12: Live Another Day, but still, it is a great action flick recommended to all who are/were fond of previous seasons. Sutherland is older, but still alive and kicking!

As someone said in another review "Jack Bauer is Back, & frankly thats the only thing that matters!!!" this could be true except that the plot usually had a coherence and methodology that was at least somewhat plausible. This last series is without a doubt the weakest and sends a clear message that the Bauer character with his husky low whisper like voice just does not cut it anymore. Even when he lopped of the head of the bad guy who came across quite mundane, we did not get a sprinkling of real fury. This is the direct result of the direction and plot management of the very tired crew. Tired from the exhaustion of those many seasons that have gone before and that we the viewers, unless we are total addicts which I am certainly not, have no sense of critical comprehension. Sorry but this time I hope the Russians kill him off permanently. A comeback would really be a sad note but then there seem to be enough devoted followers to make the thing happen yet again and put a few more million into Sutherlands account. Time for a new age of political terrorist drama maybe set around the traitor Obama and his nutbag administration. That would be fun.
