Greenes Please don't spend money on this.
Stoutor It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
lsus78 It could have had potential. She has this afraid look all of the time. Can't use a gun, etc. What is she Macgyver? For the most part it's a big commercial for Bud Light, Bryer's Icecream, and shoes.
coachdeah Strong, intelligent female characters balanced with emotionally supportive male characters, plus fast paced, international intrigue made this show one to watch and re-watch. Casting did a great job of pairing Piper Perabo with Chris Gorham, Oded Fehr and Nic Bishop throughout the 5 seasons for romantic / mission focus tension. Perabo is mesmerizing with few other actors her equal in ability to show innocence one second and cunning the next. The role was perfect for her. Her scenes with Fehr have that magical X Factor quality. Her scenes with Gorham make you long for a work- friendship like theirs. Her scenes with Bishop make you want a life partner with whom to share life and death adventures.Chris Gorham's portrayal of a blind computer tech and special ops agent was so excellent that I had to look up whether he is really sighted. In this role he got to show his considerable acting chops in a broad plot range of action, supporter, problem solver, teacher, sorrower, hunter, hunted, and victim. Then you watch him in Out of Practice with Henry Winkler, Stockard Channing and Ty Burrell, and you see that he is also great in comedic roles.I don't know how well the show portrays the life of covert operatives in the CIA, and I don't really care. As entertainment, Covert Affairs is compelling, and makes you really wonder how much spycraft is going on around us every day.
thatistaken Love the series! I'm glad there are 5 seasons so I'm looking forward to binge-watching the whole series. There are just a couple things that bug me. The location of the story is supposed to be Washington, DC, but it's painfully obvious the filming isn't in DC. They show famous locations from up in Toronto, where the filming is actually done. Also, they keep coming back to this "aerial shot of CIA Headquarters" in Langley. The shot is actually of a pathetic model that a 12-yr-old could have made. They rely heavily on stock footage for exotic locations - why insult us with this joke?
marabue With all those great shows being canceled how is it possible for this show to continue??? I mean Piper Perabo is amazingly unbelievable as a CIA Operative. An then she is supposed to be the best in many years according to the test she got as a trainee?? The Real CIA most be falling on the floor laughing about the disinformation this show creates. A stupid talentless obvious performance. The only one in this show that acts believable or just acts good is Peter Gallagher. The writing and the acting are at best terrible. I felt i got more stupid watching this show than watching Jerry Springer! Somebody involved in producing this show must be related to a network executive and that combined with a lot of stupid teenage viewers unfortunately. They would be better of watching paint dry. Please cancel this show and I will sleep better at night!
