Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Clarissa Mora The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

hellholehorror This is supernatural and the first two weren't. This shift is really strange but whatever I like supernatural and teen slashers. Barely had any relation to the others, could have been called anything else but then I probably wouldn't have watched it. Some creepy horror moments save it from damnation.

Woodyanders A trio of high school students summon up the vengeful spirit of Mary (Lilith Fields in icky make-up), who was murdered on prom night in 1969. Mary embarks on a lethal spree in which she bumps off the children of the folks who are responsible for her death. While director Mary Lambert keeps the familiar and predictable story moving along at a snappy enough pace, she crucially fails to generate any essential tension or creepy atmosphere. The trite and derivative script by Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty not only fumbles working the urban legends premise into the plot in a logical manner (there's no reason whatsoever for Mary to use urban legends as a means for exacting revenge), but also brings nothing fresh or inspired to the table. Worse yet, the murder set pieces are both laughable and ridiculously contrived: One guy winds up burned to a crisp on a tanning bed, there's a lame attack by unconvincing CGI spiders, another dude gets fatally fried while urinating on an electric fence, and so on. Kate Mara makes for a pretty and personable heroine, "Hill Street Blues" regular Ed Marinaro gets saddled with a thankless role as affable mayoral candidate Bill, and Tina Lafford easily cops the top acting honors with her winningly sassy turn as paranoid hippie pothead Grace Taylor. A real blah and forgettable wash-out.

rtcnz This film has the POTENTIAL to be as great as the other two. It has pretty good characters, a pretty intriguing mystery, with this whole "past coming back to haunt" thread. BUT the ending is devastatingly lame.I watched the "making of", and the director seems a few bricks short of a wall. She explains the film, and why it is such a brilliant, clever film. But the gaping hole in her logic is that she is WRONG. It is NOT clever, it is utterly ludicrous.And there are too many stereotypes, from the jocks to the girls having pillow fights in their underwear, to the "Foxy Brown" / "power to the people" character.

Sam_Movie_Buff God. I don't know where to begin with this one. "Urban Legends: Bloody Mary" has to be one of the worst horror movies I have ever seen. Definitely a top 10 contender. Here we have the third instalment of the Urban Legend franchise, this time changing it up (yeah, such a smart idea). Instead of the UL usual stalk and slash story's, this time they're brining a supernatural aspect. To be more specific, Bloody Mary. Thrilled? I think not. When the movie ended, I was kind of lost for words. I was a big fan of the original. With it's smart script, great setting, talented cast and more than enough scares, it was an instant classic. The second addition "Urban Legend: Final Cut" was nowhere near up to the standards of the first, but it was entertaining enough and a decent sequel. This however is catastrophic. This was only made for the sake of having a trilogy.The movie has so many flaws and plot holes, it's just too hard to name them all. I would also suffer a severe head pain actually trying to go through the movie again - it sounds terrifying just thinking about it - but for all the wrong reasons. If I had to pick one thing that stood out the worst, it would have to be the story. Bloody Mary?, come on, give me a break. Seriously. The third Urban Legend should have been a slasher, fright fest. Going back to the true, original style of the first. Though, I know it would have never measured up to it's first, I would have probably respected it a lot more. The story is just lazy. It lacks any real spark. It's like they read one of the most boring takes on the several Bloody Mary stories, and turned it into a film.The second flaw would have to be, yep, you guessed it, the terrific acting. Man was it bad. Every single "actor" was bad. When I say everyone - I mean everyone! Not one of these Z listers has a decent shred of good acting abilities in them. This made the film appear cheap and unprofessional. All I wanna know is, who did the horrific casting job? They should be fired! All in all this film was more than below average. More so in fact that it doesn't even deserve 1 star. It's a terrible piece of film and should be avoided at all costs!
