The Zombie King Trailers

Samuel Peters (Edward Furlong), once an ordinary man, dabbles in the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave. He soon encounters the God of malevolence ‘Kalfu’ (Corey Feldman), and makes a pact with him to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth. In return, he will become ‘The Zombie King’ and walk the earth for eternity with his late wife. But, as the ever growing horde of zombies begins to completely wipe out a countryside town, the Government set-up a perimeter around the town and employ a shoot-on-sight policy. Trapped within the town, the locals, an unlikely bunch of misfits, must fight for their lives and unite in order to survive. Can our heroes unravel the clues in time and survive or will The Zombie King and his horde of zombies rise on the night of the dark moon?

Nonureva Really Surprised!
Catangro After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Aspen Orson There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
Michael Ledo The film starts out with zombies in the first clip. You don't know why they are there, unless you read the DVD by-line. It starts with three main characters, Boris (Michael Gamarano)a cowardly policeman who is still handing out parking tickets during the Apocalypse. There is also a milkman (David McClelland) and a man (George McCluskey) who learned survival skills in the service...the postal service. If you don't read the by-line you will know what caused the zombie outbreak 80 minutes into the film, although it does have a flashback subplot. Our core group is joined by others as most of the film, like most zombie films, is consumed by their traveling and killing zombies. The end was unexpected. The humor was hit and miss, with a few good scenes.Worth watching for those who like a little humor with their zombies.Parental Guide: F-bombs. No sex. Nude pictures hanging on wall.
filmlover-207-724670 Once again, I am completely baffled by the rave reviews this film has received. Please don't make the same mistake I did and be drawn in by the eye-catching (and very misleading) cover art showing actors Ed Furlong and Cory Feldman.80 minute film with 'Zombies' in title features what must be all of 10 minutes screen time of zombies altogether. The rest is just mindless driving / running / and pointless, awkward dialogue.I'm a huge zombie movie fan - but I never thought I would despise a film so much as to go out of my way to urge people NOT to watch it. 'The Zombie King' proved me wrong. It is dreadful. The film focuses on a few different groups of idiots who are scattered around the British countryside - All groups appear to have absolutely no common sense. This first becomes apparent when the first group of 'survivors' encounter a zombie in a farmhouse they were supposed to be staying in. Rather than fight off one zombie in a relatively secure house, they run blindly into a dark forest where they encounter even more undead. We cut to a completely different group of survivors looking for supplies in an abandoned town. This and many more overlong scenes involving this group has absolutely no relevance to the rest of the film. Add a milkman add a postman. Dross.
joe-446-716992 Shaun of the dead, blah, blah, blah. Reminds me of all the Blair Witch knock-offs that came after that mess. Come on, if the best you can say it was a cheap version of Shaun of the Dead, that is not a review. Here are some filmmakers/frustrated actors that needed some D-list stars for their posters. The writer/actor/filmmakers dug up $50-$60k for two American former drug addicts to give the 12 fans they have between them a thrill.Boring, low on action and so obtuse I would not have known the plot without reading the synopsis on IMDb. If you're going to hire Feldman, at least use him. This was almost a cameo. Furlong was about as exciting as a wet rag with his flaccid acting. The Brit zombies all walked like they were trained by Elvis and made up by Kate Moss. The other characters were recycled from other movies. It was like a compilation or maybe a "cover" of other movie characters .Not even worth the bandwidth off a torrent and probably relegated to the $2 bin at Walmart soon,
Sal Hanson Before I go into my review, lets get something straight I have given this movie a 10/10 on the basis that I really enjoyed this film as a viewer looking at it from the off set as a B MovieFilming an Indie film there are time constraints, money constraints and lack of top of the range equipment, props etcThe filmmakers obviously put a lot of thought into the production, from the costume to locations. The zombie make-up for our day and age could of been better done but let's go back to the day of 'Night of the Living Dead' 1968 'George A. Romero', the zombie's here had the pale sunken in features and nobody questioned that. I can see what the director was going for here, which again brings this film forward to a Cult B Movie.Picking up on some of the negative user reviews I have read, take your time to stand back and think about what you have wrote, this is not a serious film, it's a farcical comedy even from the offset ' A Milk Man, Post Man and Traffic Warden' in a middle of a zombie breakout, there right from the start you know what to expect from this film. The one liners are going to be strange like the old lady character, 'Vera'. The Milk Man has some amazing lines which I reckon the younger generation will be quoting after they watch the film. In one of the reviews I read the postie character had done a bad Clint Eastwood impression, come on guys, the actor obviously did this on purpose to fit the style of the film and in my point of view he did a grand job, come on' "when I first joined the service, I worked on the estates in Newcastle" what Brit person over the age of 20 can not find that funny? Again in the same vain the character of the Priest fits this film perfectly the way the actor played it out, the ever knowing drunk priest, priceless. I felt there was a great mix of characters, some better than others but all in all a great ensemble. This film does have its faults even from my perspective but what B movie doesn't? I loved it, great effort from first time feature director 'Aidan Belizaire'. The director uses elements from the 'French New Wave' from lighting, to long takes, through to the segmented re-use of the scene with Edward Furlongs character, which was genius. It was his stylistic approach, again this helps towards this movie standing out and entering into a Cult Classic, not to mention having two of the biggest child star actors of the 80's.The filmmakers of this film obviously didn't want it to be your everyday zombie film, which the market is completely over saturated with. They wanted to make it different, which they did. Don't watch this film as a full on horror, watch it as a comedy. This film will certainly not win any awards, and by the looks of it, it's a love hate thing. For a B movie it's certainly more entertaining, more thought out than a lot of the other indie zombie films which are hitting our shelves these day's .One further point before I finish, great ending and homage to one of greatest classic's of George A. Romero.
