The Wedding Date Trailers

With the wedding of her younger sister fast approaching, Kat Ellis faces the undesirable prospect of traveling alone to London for the ceremony. While this is bad enough, Jeffrey, the man who left her as they moved closer to marriage, happens to be the groom's best man. Determined to show everyone -- most of all Jeffrey -- that her romantic life is as full and thrilling as ever, Kat hires a charming male escort as her date.

Reviews
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
hubbardamanda I felt like I was watching cousins kiss. It was awkward, and poor acting even though both actors are good and steady actors. It wasn't believable and the premise was shaky at best ( male escort, Love dynamic). Amy Adams was the bright star in this movie. Her vapid portrayal of a sister was spot on and even charming. Don't buy or rent this, it is on tv enough if your curious.
eastwest-257-811887 Debra Messing does a great, actually she does a fantastic job of playing a looser. Her character in this film is kind of a looser. The character Messing plays has a job and fantastic looks and all that, but that doesn't mean you can't be looser and her character is just that a looser and she does a fantastic job of playing that character so I give her props for that. Which is where the one star I gave this film comes from. Now the rest of the movie was not good, her romance with Dermot Mulroney to me was not developed at all. The movie it's self was put together kind of clunky. Her and Mulroney I'm sorry had no chemistry and the rest of the characters who even cares. I did not care for this film except to say that Debra Messing did a great job of playing a total looser character.
vdisire vdisire Story goes like this Kat Ellis (Messing), who returns to her parents' London home for her sister's wedding is afraid of confronting her ex fiancé, who dumped her two years before, she hires a male escort Nick (Mulroney) to pose as her new boyfriend. And how Kat and Nick come together forms the rest of the story.its good how the characters are introduced and interwoven. The best part is that of Dermot Mulroney. Wow, first of all he is really gorgeous. Next, his role understands women so well. I am the girl who liked Made of honor, Naughty or nice (2012), Holiday in Handcuffs. If you liked those then you will like this movie as well.
Dave Rich In my opinion, the movie could have been so much more. I wonder if the jacket was written by someone who watched the movie before the editor finished slicing and dicing. Many of the deleted scenes should have been left in. Other scenes would have made more sense (Amy asking Nick if he told her for instance) and the humor the jacket spoke of, would have been much more apparent. At several points we were left wondering where a scene was going only to have it cut away without resolution. Other times, it was as if some crucial lead-in had been left out.The story might be a bit cliché but the writing was passable and the acting and characters were believable enough. The settings, cinematography lighting etc, were great and I like the actors. However, none of this was enough to elevate this movie out of mediocrity.I would have a DVD for sale but then I'd be guilty of criminal behavior, if not as bad as the one those responsible for the way this film turned out perpetrated. The editing crew appear to be guilty of felony film vandalism.
