PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Johnny H. Dreamworks struck gold when they released Shrek in 2001: it became the first ever animated feature to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and it showed that PIXAR was no longer alone in the CGI-animation Hollywood race to the top. On top of that, this film parodied and subverted all the tropes of classic Disney movies and traditional fairy-tales by making the 'scary monster' the hero of the story and the most gold-spirited character in the whole thing. It's wonderful stuff that's still laugh-out-loud funny and still a very impressive technical sideshow from the early 2000s.Shrek is a movie that speaks for itself, and I think it doesn't need to depend on its recent spike of internet popularity to show that it's a classic and well done movie through and through. This one's probably one of my all-time favourite animated movies; plain and simply I think it's near flawless entertainment.
sterlinrivera-2000 "Shrek" is a movie that came out when I was a 1 year old, and I loved it back then. I watched it all the time when I was little, and constantly enjoyed it. Still to this very day, this movie holds up very well with the animation, voice acting, brilliant story, and awesome as hell soundtrack. One of my favorite animated movies that never gets old.
hecoxjus This movie is like an ogre. It has layers. One of the best Dreamworks movies to date, easily. By layers, I mean different layers of complexity. By far the most prominent element was the humor. It was littered with jokes to appeal kids, and it will make adults shake their heads in disbelief at the nerve of the director to throw in an ass joke or two. Then, there's the plot and premise. The plot is actually really well developed, with some twists, suspense, and creativity. The premise of the fairy tales all existing in one universe is really cool as well. It all works together to create a really entertaining movie for all ages.
t-13196 Shrek made me understand why I'm human. It gave me the answers I have been searching for my entire life and I am now able to descend to the greater swamp.
