Shrek Forever After Trailers

A bored and domesticated Shrek pacts with deal-maker Rumpelstiltskin to get back to feeling like a real ogre again, but when he's duped and sent to a twisted version of Far Far Away—where Rumpelstiltskin is king, ogres are hunted, and he and Fiona have never met—he sets out to restore his world and reclaim his true love.

StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Pjtaylor-96-138044 'Shrek Forever After (2010)' is better than the third outing purely because it has some style and a story that takes a risk by really turning things inside out. This is a move that tells you all you need to know about the longevity of this meme-destined franchise. The flick makes for an interesting watch that isn't always successful but is usually appreciated. It's not all that funny, though there are smile-worthy moments and the cast is good once again, but the 'what if' narrative provides a few chances to play with expectation even if it is all predictably conventional and ultimately relatively cliché. 6/10
slightlymad22 Shrek Forever After I was hoping this movie, would restore the franchise to its former glory, and go out in the right way, but if Shrek The Third ran the franchise into the ground, Shrek Forever After buries it's, and plants the headstone!!I didn't like Shrek The Third, claiming it lacked the brilliance and charm of the first two movies, and sadly this is just as bad. I was actually bored again, despite the whole It's A Wonderful Life thing. The first two movies entertained adults and kids, the last two were just awful to sit through. One again Murphy is pushed in to the background, and once again I say it's to the movie's detriment. This was billed as the last Shrek movie during its promotional run and release, but the movie does not end things right on any level!! See Toy Story 3 for how to do that in a kids movie!! Shrek Forever After was the worst performing movie in the franchise. Grossing $238 million at the domestic box office to end the year the 8th highest grossing movie of the year. Still not bad numbers though.
grantss Good fun. While this probably got the worst reviews of the four Shrek movies, I enjoyed this the most. The humour seemed cleverer, and the whole plot seemed darker and edgier. Maybe it was the fact that it had an over- the-top bad guy, Rumpelstiltskin, and he made the movie for me.Great graphics, and a decent, though a tad derivative, plot. The plot was never the main selling point of the Shrek series anyway...The old crew - Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy (especially) and Antonio Banderas - deliver in spades, but as, indicated before, it is Rumpelstiltskin, voiced by Walt Dohrn, who makes this so enjoyable.
KineticSeoul After the third installment that just wasn't nearly good as the first 2. Now comes a 4th installment that doesn't add much to the franchise, despite it being the final chapter in the Shrek story. There is no charm or wits to this one. It's like they rand out of ideas and now resorting to the what if scenario. They just don't show the after after forever ever after for a reason. I know it tries to delve into the reality of these stories, but this just falls flat. I was just bored with this one. It's like the failed 3rd installment, they just tried to make it up and finish the story. This is a franchise that had a strong start and just went downhill from there. It's another watchable CGI animated movie, but easily forgettable. And lacked the charm and substance to make it memorable. It's a movie worth watching to finish up the journey though, even if it ends weak. Well at least they tried to finish with at least something somewhat passable. I give this movie a 6 and that is being generous. It doesn't necessarily completely end with a whimper, but it came pretty darn close to that travesty.6/10
