This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

It's a movie as timely as it is provocative and amazingly, for much of its running time, it is weirdly funny.

I love this saga, and i love this moving for kickstarting it. leslie nielsen is amazing as an actor, and is amazing in this. we get funny moments from such legends as ricardo montalban, george kennedy and more. OJ simpson, though barley appearing is still funny, and on top of that, we get endless cameos from joyce brothers that are flat out histarical. this was amde from the same people behind airplane, and other than mel brooks, they are my favorite satarist. you should watch all 3 movies, but start out with this one. it is very quotable too, from "nice beaver" to "sexual asult with a concrete dildo", you would wanna see that. and off course, the opening with the car, just watch it is worth it.

If you like comedy movies, then I would definitely recommend this movie. Leslie Nielsen stars as the main character, and he certainly outdoes himself. This was a hilarious movie, and I was laughing throughout. One scene in particular had me actually cry from laughing so hard, something that a movie had never done before. If you want to go and see a movie that will have you laughing your socks off, then definitely go see this movie. You won't be disappointed.

Comedy that parodies all cop movies clichés you could possibly think of and then some more already promises good entertainment. And when you add Leslie Nielsen on top of that...7,5/10

a blast throughout, though the movie makers made similar movies before and after the naked gun movies with the same type of jokes, and the leading actor seemed to get quite the identical roles in comedy flicks afterwards, it never worked out as well as this naked gun movie franchise, one hilarious silly bit after another, and i guess that kind of comedy won't age, only the playing field scene seemed a bit dragged out, the sequels are just as fun if not funnier really.
