Reviews
Lawbolisted Powerful
Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
ShangLuda Admirable film.
Dirtylogy It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.
flipdern There are way too many people in this world who confuse sarcastic, cynical meanness with wit.If you're interested in one-note Aubrey Plaza and her stale caustic deadpan routine this will be right up your alley.
abcdfgh The movie looks pretty every way, doesn't take itself seriously at all. Just fun. I never laughed but had a smirk on my face the whole time.Btw, people who give 1 star with a message like "avoid cuz it sucks so much" - that's just a lame way to try sticking their personal tastes into everyone's throat. I've found that if most people give a movie extremely high and low scores, then it's usually unusual and often worth a watch. So, it's not a real issue and even helps to find peculiar fun movies. And this one is a perfect example of this:) My 9 stars is to say that for some tastes, this one is a gem:)
Noquietthoughts So many funny scenes! The nuns' confessions, the priest losing the things he was supposed to sell, the tribunal questions and the punishment given. Very offbeat and irreverent and HILARIOUS!
hello-181-893413 It started strong and went downhill to weird rapey scenes and a truly lackluster ending.
