Team Darryl Trailers

Fresh off being unseated as the ruler of Sakaar, the Grandmaster makes his way to Earth to start a new life. It's been over a year since Thor left Australia and Darryl has been struggling to pay his rent. Now Darryl needs a new roommate to help make the monthly payments. Unfortunately for Darryl, the Grandmaster was the only one who answered Darryl's "Roommate Needed" ad and with no viable options, the Grandmaster moves in.

Reviews
TrueJoshNight Truly Dreadful Film
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Leoni Haney Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Horst in Translation (filmreviews@web.de) "Team Darryl" is a 6-minute live action short film that elaborates on what happened after the blockbuster movie Thor: Ragnarok and it is a DVD add-on for the latter. Maybe you watched the one where a normal guy named Darryl shares his apartment with Thor himself and as some kind of running gag, he ends up with the Grandmaster this time, played by Jeff Goldblum again of course. Well, it's not a bad watch if you really loved the movie, but Waititi, writer and director here, really makes not much of a statement beyond mediocre comedy I'd say. Goldblum almost carried it to a level where I would recommend it, especially with the one scene where he melts that guy and the Youtube mocking part isn't too shabby eother, but eventually, it's just nothing remotely special and maybe my fanboying for Goldblum is a bit too much here. Overall, I give this one a thumbs-down and the series can end with it for all I care. Only watch if you really love the Marvel films and their comedic approach too. And if you love Goldblum at least as much as I do. Otherwise skip it.
