Reviews
StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Connianatu How wonderful it is to see this fine actress carry a film and carry it so beautifully.
matt-320-565798 This film sets off with an interesting story and tone, enough to reel anyone in who could be so compelled to unravel what appears to be a small town mystery. But as the story picks up and we begin to learn more about the characters, the mystery doesn't seems to remain stuck in the first act, with very little discovered to deepen the plot. The sense you get though is "wait, its about to happen!", and you wait... and wait... until the very end... and then.... nothing. Zero pay off is the result. Characters basically accept the situation albeit with regrets, and credits roll. Very disappointed that the time investment in the long, slow-burning drama eventuated to nothing when it had u begging for answers. Beautiful cinematography and art direction though, and acting was great too, although I feel the characters were also expecting to build towards something of a more rewarding and mysterious conclusion as well.
leethomas-11621 Is this a drawn out domestic drama or an under-written mystery? It doesn't matter. Just glad I don't have to see these people any more. They were far too long on the screen. Haven't seen a hospital without doctors or nurses before! Admired actors for giving it their all.
dgar1948 I liked the movie. It was kind of slow and confusing at times but overall a good movie. I imagine people living in a small isolated town like that one would be a little weird, so isolated. Looked like it was Mars. Nicole Kidman was great I thought the way she portrayed the distraught mom with a past of her own. The ending was disappointing I thought, left you hanging. What happened to Lily? Was she murdered, Did Burtie kill her, was her body out there somewhere, did the unknown driver of the car her brother saw take her to where the concert was going to be held? And if she did go with him why did they leave the boy out there to die? A few questions unanswered in that movie but maybe that's the way the producers wanted it. Now I'm going to wonder forever if Lily died or went to another town. Good movie though.
spetsk Hahaha...this movie is my first ever IMDb review, as I just had to crack the movie and came here for the answers. Then it hit me! This movie is about about dissatisfaction, unfulfillment and in the end leaves you with the feeling! Great concept! 10 points! How many lines I have to write, if the review is just one sentence? What about simplicity? :)
