Charming and brutal

an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

this film certainly is on the shoulders of actor Pulkit Samrat. He plays the role of Aakash and has the maximum screen time compared to other artists and he proves his capabilities as a performer by pulling out some intense scenes with ease. Sometimes he has gone overboard while performing but it doesn't affect his performance. Yami Gautam who plays Shruti is sheer disappointment, the plot doesn't give her the scope to perform more which leads to a sadness for all her fans. Urvashi Rautela looks good and her performance is effective and nice in the role of Akanksha. Rishi Kapoor shines very well in his 'extended' cameo part, he proves when it comes to experiment no one can overshadow this veteran who plays the grandfather to Pulkit Samrat.Special mention to the child artists Neil Tyagi and Delisa Mehra making a place in our hearts with their brilliant performances as the younger versions of Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam respectively.

The music of the film is exceptional, all songs are melodious and soulful. The title track 'Sanam Re' and 'Tere Liye' can be counted as the highlights of this movie, the way they are shot. The music of the movie has been credited to multiple composers Mithoon, Jeet Ganguly, Amaal Mallik and Epic Bhangra. The technical team of Sameer Arya (Cinematography), Chandrashekhar Prajapati (Editing) and Raju Singh (Background Score) lend a good support to the vision of Divya Khosla Kumar. On a whole, 'Sanam Re' is a one time watch for those who love to see a pure romantic film. But it would turn a disappointment for those who expect something extraordinary. Watch it for Pulkit Samrat, Rishi Kapoor and the adorable kids.

'Sanam Re' is written by Sanjeev Dutta with a simple story and screenplay but the plot leads to some predictability as the movie comes towards an end. The dialogues of the movie are very ordinary and could have been better. The movie is directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, who had earlier tasted success with her debut venture 'Yaariyan.' The film has been shot very well showing Divya's maturity as a filmmaker while handling some intense emotional scenes. Plus she should be given credit to take out a very adorable act from the child artistes who play the younger versions of Pulkit and Yami.

I don't really like dramatic movies but this movie is totally worth watching by Divya Khosla Kumar, starring the gorgeous Yami Gautam & Pulkit Samrat. Go Sanam Re! #SanamReToday This movie has my heart. I'm going to watch it again & again it is so nice and super cute & romantic! It's probably one of the best romances you could see on screen! Great chemistry between the leads! But, Don't forget your tissues when you go to watch it. Sanam Re is a love story that will stay with you! I guarantee it! Also, Divya Khosla Kumar goes above predictability with bringing out fine performances from Samrat and especially Yami Gautam. Uravshi is a fine watch as well. 10. The best love story of the year 2016.
