Benas Mcloughlin Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Freeman This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
mandytgreene Just pass on it. I can't tell you how disappointed I am in this movie. It looks and sounds terrible, the acting, ugh! Not a fan.
wolaf90044 This movie is obviously a low budget splatter-flick as clearly expressed on the cover. I don't understand why reviewers are expecting great acting and Hollywood special effects. This is a project done by people who really just love what they do, and they do it for free. If you're looking for Hollywood stuff then watch Hollywood stuff. I personally enjoy this movie very much and I suggest it often because I personally know what it's like to create with no capitol. I rarely see a big budget film that sticks in my mind long enough to recommend it to others. Niko's decapitates and disembowels New York with no big names and zero budget. Andreas Schnaas writes, directs, acts and creates his own special effects. He will make it happen with rocks and dirt if he has to. Hollywood needs a thousand hands and millions of dollars and can't even do remakes well the majority of the time. Peace.
Viva_Chiba What the hell are you expecting ? A slasher movie like "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake ? It's an independent movie, probably waaaaaaaaay better than every "Platinum Dunes" remake. I like the work of Andreas Schnaas, i don't have much to say about him.Plot: While someone was trying to steal the Mask of the barbarian "Nikos", Nikos resurrects and he starts a bloody killing spree..... The idea of a slasher movie taking place in a big city like New York is interesting, in 1989, the movie "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" failed in putting this concept to life, but Nikos the Impaler did something better....with a small budget !
Jim Goad How to rate a movie like this?....It's so bad that it's actually brilliant. The worst acting, lighting, foley & CGI I've ever seen & it's way too long. Plus, the story makes no sense really, especially when Hitler & Ninjas show up towards the end. However, the fun factor is there & I totally enjoyed it despite the worst actors in the movie being given the lead roles. When your leading man is too tall to fit in the frame with the other actors & also has immense difficulty opening doors should you re-cast him? No. Just roll with it & have fun.One more thing... How does the student fail to notice that his arm has been ripped off until someone else spots it?
