Mr. & Mrs. Smith Trailers

After five (or six) years of vanilla-wedded bliss, ordinary suburbanites John and Jane Smith are stuck in a huge rut. Unbeknownst to each other, they are both coolly lethal, highly-paid assassins working for rival organisations. When they discover they're each other's next target, their secret lives collide in a spicy, explosive mix of wicked comedy, pent-up passion, nonstop action and high-tech weaponry.

Reviews
SpecialsTarget Disturbing yet enthralling
Konterr Brilliant and touching
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
demakhatib-85882 Best casting in movie history!! I just want a sequel and another one.. And great acting
simon_ecc The synopsis reads "a bored married couple" and I m not surprised. If I were them, I d also be bored. As far as I remember, someone fires a gun and someone else fires a gun. Somebody hides behind a wall and fires a gun, and somebody else fires back with a gun. You'd think that with all these guns going off, it would be enough to keep you awake, but the monotonous nature of the movie wins hands down, and you ll probably be asleep by the end.
Filipe Neto Romantic comedies usually not please everyone, much less when disguised as action films like this. The basic idea of this film is a fight between husband and wife, secret agents of rival agencies have to kill each other. The idea is excellent for a film of this genre, but Simon Kinberg's script was not able to develop in a natural and effective way. The result is a rather scrappy movie where every scene look like a sort of "excuse" to justify the action scenes, quite hilarious, between the couple. The couple is played by Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie. About them can be said that they knew not disappoint the audience and were at the height of the characters and the film. They are two extremely talented actors who combine talent to physical beauty, and scenes where both participate, interacting with each other, in a more or less friendly but always passionate way, are worthy of anthology, not only because they can combine and comedy and action but also by showing excellent meshing with one another. The special visual and sound effects are basically the standard of Hollywood, not the least bit surprised the public. Guns, shooting everywhere, explosions, martial arts, car chases ... in a way, the film looks like a parody of action films, exhibiting comically most of its cliche's. If that was the intention, it is excellent. Moreover, the film is basically pure entertainment, without great concern for anything else other than the right mix of action and comedy.
Nikita Wannenburgh Not a great movie. It was an action-flick – neither emotionally compelling or profound in any way – and it was simply fun, explosive, and plainly romantic. The script was awful. The dialogue was weak, uninspired, boring, and what they said what was you heard; there was no depth or quality whatsoever. It was also painfully slow-moving (until about more than halfway through when the car chase took place) and the soundtrack was also really bad. The cinematography was equally terrible, with simple, boring camera- angles that did nothing to improve or enhance the actors or their surroundings/situations. It was nothing new and definitely not creative. The acting was OK. Just……OK. Pitt gives a much better performance than Jolie, who overacts with forced expressions and girl power that is just what it implies; unoriginal girl power with sexy outfits that make the female spy who she is. Yeah, she's intelligent too, but all the same, Jolie's character brings nothing new to the table. Pitt's acting, however, is much stronger and believable. Still, he's not brilliant, but at least decent and consistent. The explosive and undeniable chemistry between Pitt and Jolie carries the movie, but otherwise the film is nothing special.
