A Disappointing Continuation
DipitySkillful
an ambitious but ultimately ineffective debut endeavor.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

Polly Kwan rides down the road and finds her crew of two hanging by their heels from trees. The Devil's Gang is behind this. They have decided Polly is their enemy because she is looking for trouble and needs to be taught a lesson. Polly easily defeats the first few fighters thereby proving she is looking for trouble and needs a lesson. This is one for the cell phone as I can hardly see it on the television. Polly is considered a man during the whole movie despite wearing more eyeliner, rouge and lipstick than the girls in the brothel. It is a comedy as in "Look at the dwarf, hah!" or "look at the guy fall down, hah!" The title character "Little Hero" is a kid who happens upon the Phoenix Sword weapon. The main bad guy has wings and can really fly. His brain is also bird sized in that to outsmart him all you have to do is say "He went that way" and point the opposite. The man in the gold mask is Lo Lieh. The mask only comes off for the final fight so I doubt Lo Lieh was actually under the mask at any other time. This is a movie only for hard core fans of the genre to watch once. Such fans will find it difficult to watch and below average. This is really a warning more than a review.
