Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Steve Pulaski Jackass: Number Two director Jeff Tremaine claims that when the gang shot the film, they had enough footage to make two complete films. Jackass 2.5 is the footage that didn't make the final cut. It's hard to call a sixty-four minute film a "movie," but it's not like this is completely failed, throw-away material. We should be grateful we saw it in the first place.Jackass 2.5 is in no way the "failed" stunts. These stunts were passed with grade A idiocracy. They just weren't cool enough to get in the big film. Some of the stunts are very well done. I loved the "Mini Motor Cycle Mayhem" because I've always wanted to just completely trash a supermarket in a weird way.My favorite stunt is performed by the remarkable duo of Preston Lacy and Jason "Wee Man" Acuna. The gang paints Lacy like King Kong with interior black paint, and place him on top of a port-a-potty on top of a hill (he has a great fear of heights). So the struggle for him is to not get hit with planes and face his "fatty-fall-down-phobia." Wee Man, dressed like a women, is clinging to his side yelling "save me" while Lacy swats at remote control airplanes before falling. Hilarity, and really a surprise it wasn't cut from the right cloth.I liked when Bam flew a kite. And that's all I'm willing to say about that. Some of the stunts left me speechless. But with Jackass, that's something you have to expect.I enjoyed a lot of the interviews conducted with most of the cast. I sort of wish there were more scattered throughout the movie to make it longer. We get a lot of Tremaine commentary about the film, which I have no problem with. I'd like to hear how Jackass is made from the director's point of view.Jackass 2.5 is in no way made of "garbage" or "epic fails." It's made of, quite possibly, two of the best stunts ever performed in Jackass history. Jackson Booth-Millard I admit when I saw it on the DVD shelf I thought it was the same film with just a little more footage, but in fact it was a completely separate film with some interviews. The Jackass boys: Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Preston Lacy, Dave England, Chris Pontius, Jason 'Wee Man' Acuña, Ehren McGhehey, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn and director Jeff Tremaine; basically made enough footage for two films, so this extra film had interviews about some included in the real Jackass Number Two, and why the new, cut and unseen footage in this film didn't make it into the film, or just failed period. Also on set and appearing are Bam's Dad, Phil and Mom, April; Brandon Dicamillo, Rick Kosick, Spike Jonze (show co-creator, and director of Being John Malkovich) and King of the Hill creator Mike Judge. Pretty much just as sick and funny as the proper film sequel. Good!

Mr Smashley There is nothing to this film except a bunch of stunts that wern't good enough to go into jackass 2. I honestly think that there were no more than 2 stunts that managed to make me laugh in any way. I was such a big fan of the original series and first 2 movies but this was truly a waste of time. In all honesty I would have been disappointed watching this as a bonus disc to go with the second movie. What stunts there are seem outdated and no way near on a par with the much funnier dirty sanchez boys who still seem able to push boundaries. All this seemed like was a group of guys truly milking the jackass franchise in a feeble attempt to resurrect their wiltering careers. Even Knoxville seemed to have sold himself out.

wakey30 First off, let me say that I'm a huge Jackass fan. I have been since the first episode aired on MTV in 2000. I remember seeing both Jackass movies in the theaters and loved them both. They were hysterical. So, when I heard there was a web-only release of a new Jackass film I was very, very excited.Well I just finished watching the film and, I must say, I was quite disappointed. When watching you must keep in mind that what you are seeing were scenes that wound up on the cutting-room floor from the second film. The stunts are kind of boring. The cast lacks their usual enthusiasm. And it looks like age, money, and fame have had their effects on the entire crew.When Jackass first started it was a bunch of guys who no one knew and and had no money. Just doing stunts for the fun of it. Now you watch and it seems like they're washed-up, old, and just out to make a few more bucks.I'm optimistic that the newly announced Jackass 3 will get back to the roots of the original show. But, as for Jackass 2.5, I was thoroughly disappointed.
