Reviews
Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
BlazeLime Strong and Moving!
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
rourkeodonnell I watched Freaky Friday on its premiere on Disney Channel knowing it wasn't going to be good but it was bad. The music was horrible and all the situations were fixed by luck. Horrible writing, Horrible acting. A bad movie that just wants money.
matthew_lcm I offered to pay the cable company to kill our cable everytime this "movie" ran. They refused. I was afraid so I said money was no object and to name their price. Sadly they refused. Long story short, I'm now in an intense legal battle with the cable company for damages (mentally and surprisingly physical, because I blacked out and Lord knows what happened while I was out) and neglect.
lanicorn This movie is trying too hard to be politically correct. For starters the overweight black girl is the mean girl , the main character looks like a lesbian who's main love interest is an Asian and the main characters mom is marrying a black man. Not that there us anything wrong with that. But they are trying too hard. Not to mention the horrible music. This is an all around corny movie don't waste your time watching it
heavenbound-423-635009 I disagree with criticisms that the singing is terrible, although I was as surprised as anyone that it was a musical. I did think the cast was talented. The songs were very contrived, and the story ineffective at drawing the viewer in. The mother (while in the daughter's body) talks and sings about her love for a teenage boy, which is pretty cringeworthy. I couldn't recommend this movie to anyone.
