muvi-fan-73 Delhi Belly is first of its kind movie in Bollywood. The movie is full of Adult Humor. It was in debate if such movies have place in Bollywood. For me, yes there are certain movies that cross the limit. Delhi Belly was not one of them. It was hilarious.Tone, Script & Story: Three friends get under the eye of a gangster for some reason. Tone also include's their private and public life. Adult Humor is portrayed everywhere.Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography: The movie does justice to this area as well.Music: Again in music as well, the adult nature, double meaning comes in existence. It was a hit. Acting: Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Vir Das, Vijay Raaz and almost everyone associated has done well.Final Verdict: It is hilarious Adult comedy that will make you laugh your a** out every time you watch it!
Ben Franklin The bad:I am not totally against the use of bad language in films - some times it is totally appropriate - but I think there were times in this movie when it was just being used for the sake of it, and/or just to get cheap laughs from teenagers who still find the use of the F-word funny. One thing I love about Bollywood is it manages to get laughs with having to resort to bad language - and long may it remain that way.The good:The plot is fast-paced and it gets down to business pretty much from the get-go. I was watching it with my 17 year-old son and he thoroughly enjoyed it (maybe he is the target audience for gross-out comedy). It has some classic comedic moments and there were many times I laughed out loud.If you enjoyed Hangover then this is likely to be something you'll enjoy too.I did watch it with sub-titles on, but from what I can remember the dialog is almost all in English. Maybe this was to try and give it wider appeal.
Anto Anish I'd have to say that I was greatly impressed by Aamir Khan's directorial debut in "Taare Zameen Par". When i came to know that aamir khan produced this movie, I did have pretty good expectations. Controversy surrounding the ratings and content of film, with high expectations, I did watch the movie , and , witnessed how wrong a movie can go. Seems that the only thing in the director's mind was how do i make the movie more controversial. So , he took a worthless plot , filled the void with as much swear words as possible and as icing on the cake , he topped it with shitty jokes (literally). There were no laughs only disgust. The only thing that can be lauded about the movie is it's screenplay. Well executed. OK ! It was obvious they tried to approach Bollywood cinema in Guy Ritchie style (Lock Stock , Snatch )........but you need a solid plot before you even get close. Poor script and horrible acting. The background score was "ok" but not enough to save the movie. And it receives a 7.7 rating in IMDb and 4 film awards. Bravo, where is the bollywood industry heading to.
simple_img I cant imagine how this movie can be declared good or hilarious as some people did.i would say that these people just love filthiness so they loved this movie. really it is the most disgusting, filthy and awful Hindi movie i have ever seen, it is not funny at allAs if they are tired of the great natural views and beautiful scenes so they decided to picture every filthy and disgusting place they ever came across. lot of scenes was taken in toilets with a lot of farting all over the movie. I don't know why i completed it, i kept saying "it will get better" and i love Imran but no, i finished it with the feeling of throwing up.The worse is that the viewer don't come out with anything useful from the movie, no meaningful idea, nothing not even comedy just an adultery shameful scenes + shitty comedy.one would expect more from an Aamir production and it is the first time for me to give a movie a 1 rating
