Death of a President Trailers

A fictional investigative documentary looks back on the "assassination" of George W. Bush and attempts to answer the question of who committed the murder. Perhaps less morbid and disturbing to watch now than during Bush's presidency, the film doesn't address Bush's policies at all, instead focusing on the way a nation assigns blame in a time of crisis.

Reviews
BroadcastChic Excellent, a Must See
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
Phillipa Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
grantss Powerful, clever, original and very realistic.A "documentary" of the assassination of George W Bush in 2007. Much of the footage is of actual Bush speeches and the like, cleverly spliced with staged material to make a fictional story. It fits together so smoothly and seamlessly you would not know that this is fiction.Solid performances from the actors in the staged segments give this a very authentic feel. Not just a good story, but a profound one too, one with great social and moral observations. It powerfully highlights the hysteria, irrationality and injustice that prevails in society, especially in reaction to a catastrophic event, and also the prejudices that exist.I was expecting, with some trepidation, that this film was going to have some sort of political agenda, i.e that it would be a left-wing daydream or a right-wing attack on the opponents of Bush. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it is very well balanced and has no real political agenda.
SnoopyDogDog Yes, my title is the essence of the film: Please don't kill Bush, because then we'd have cheney for president and then we'd really see how America would be run as a corporation. And completely without democratic rights or civil liberties.Aside from war, this would be the most interesting political event that could happen on this planet. That's why it's a good subject for a film. And this film IS good, with good acting unknown actors. The repercussions of a presidential would be devastating: The economy would plummet, but most likely and more importantly, the Americans wouldn't hold back (or rather: hold back even less) and might go nuclear after this one. And I think they wouldn't nuke China or Russia or some other country that would benefit from political chaos in the USA, nor would the Middle East be the target, since Iran would use dirty bombs, but most likely a nation in Africa, which cannot defend it self with some form of WMD, and has no resources. For that matter, if you have a business that would thrive on chaos, killing Bush would be a smart business move.
apidco i tried to sit through this heap of horse manure but had to shut it off it became obvious bush and his rejects made this film to try to buy sympathy for poor bushie full of manure awful is not even enough to say how bad this joke is. Its pure propaganda and a silly attempt to lead America astray again. I wish they would have at least gotten a real actor bush cant even speak straight let alone act like hes a good guy. Hitler envies satanist bush and demon cheney. Its nothing but a sad movie trying to get you to feel bad because bush has such a hard time trying to destroy America and freedom so we should all feel bad for him. Watch this if you want to try trough you valuable time away i wish i could get my time back it would have been better spent defecating or sleeping or anything else.
jano_rajmond This movie should be a wake-up call to President George W. Bush and to all American citizens sympathizing him as well. This fictional documentary presents the investigations that followed after the murder of George W. Bush on October 19, 2007.But truth to be told, the only thing imaginary and set in the future is the murder of the President. Everything else presented in the movie - the investigation, the use of force by the police, the violation of civil rights, the racial profiling of the investigators, the pressure of linking the murder to Al Quaida or Syria, the false conviction of a man under the pressure of President Cheney, the Patriot Act III - all of these are the harsh reality of today's USA.There is no need for October 17 to come... because all of these are already here.
