It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.

As usually plagues Asian films, overacting is the norm, especially the first tale. And hey, both actors should see a doctor - too unstable, prone to accidents! Making them trip over as excuses for a kiss or buying time to stay together for a longer while is stretching things a bit too far.Still, the conclusion is heartwarming, which is all about at least giving the other a chance. To me, even tho i've never been to Manila, the 2nd tale shows the real Phillippines. Tired-of-making good-but-still-does-good-anyway guy finally opens up to the charms of the other half. But the way everything's brought together in the conclusion is very nice indeed.
