Inclubabu Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
andrew-napier2 Worst adaptation ever. Actors and actresses were terrible, the writing was so estranged from the story that it was absolutely pointless to give it the same name, and the production value was... Well, let's just say that there are episodes of Beavis and Butthead that probably cost more money. Pathetic and, if you've ever read the series, prepare to have your hopes torn into pieces if you ever think about watching this. If you've never read the series, well... There's nothing in this for you at all. It's just a junk show that was totally pointless. Find a new one. As a matter of fact, watching The Bachelor is probably more entertaining and less of a waste of time. This was absolutely the worst thing to ever grace my television set and I can't wait until I get to meet the person responsible for this.
scott_brierley (Never read the book that this is based on...) The TV series is way above average for this kind of sword and sorcery genre, even if it has no resemblance to the "much loved" book on which it may be based. The overtly simplistic storytelling and somewhat questionable script/acting are of no immediate deterrent to enjoying the series. In fact, if you found the LotR trilogy (on screen) a heavy-going grind to wade through this will be a breath of "fantasy-fresh-air".The series does however veer towards a less mature audience. The "violence" is muted and the theme of Good Vs Evil handled in a manner suitable for a pre-teen audience almost. In short, it lacks any real menace on the part of the "bad-guys" and so fails to generate much empathy for the "good-guys".That being said, the action is handled briskly and the sometimes difficult magical effects are reasonable and unoffensive. As an entertainment show that is trying to appeal to a fantasy fan-base (many of whom are ardently defensive of the book) it may well struggle to gain high regard...as a throw-away, action/adventure series that is never too demanding of its audiences emotions or intellect it is successful.Since this is a personal review I would add that I enjoyed it for the most part. I wish it were a "darker" world with a lot more menace and substance but it would seem you can't have everything.
Lily DelBeato I was so excited to see this show loving the "Sword of Truth" book series so much! But I was so mad after watching the show, this had nothing to do with the book at all. The only thing this show and the book have in common are the names of the characters and that is it for real! The first episode you meet Richard Cypher (the main male character) Kahlan (the main female character)and Zeddicus (Zedd)(another main character) in the book Richard Cyper and the cloud reader Zedd are friends. In the television show Richard doesn't really know Zedd. Somehow Kahlan the Confessor wields dual blades in the television show, and other characters such as Darken Rahl, Rachel, and Cara are all messed up. Darken Rahl is NOT Richard's brother in the book but is in the television show. Cara the mord sith is nothing like the Cara from the book. And how you meet and what Rachel does has nothing at all to do with the book in any way shape or form. But if you imagine that this show is just a show that has the same names from a great book series as a coincidence and its not supposed to be anything like the book then this is a pretty good show.
tanaelittle03 I really love this TV Series. It's Drama, Adventure, and Action. Etc. I am only 11 years old, and I love these series. They are absolutely remarkable! I watched all of the seasons. I don't know why you all couldn't make a third season, but whatever reason, this is the best movie series I have ever watched. I really think every body who watched these series really love the way the love between Richard and Kahlan, because I do. Whenever I seen the case of the second and final season I thought Richard would fall in love with Cara, and Kahlan would get jealous. But it surprised me. I like Kahlan, by her personality, and Cara by her Mord's ways and just the way that character is! One day I hope I can be an actress. It must be hard to be Austrailian and play a part with a American ax-cent. I really love this, as I said before. If it isn't to late I wish you all could make a third season. If you all go by ratings, you have a lot of fans, don't let them down! Surprise us!
