Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Stephan Hammond It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Celia A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
scarletminded I used to watch this on TV Land. Now I am trying to catch up via DVD. One thing I like about this show is the use of older actors, like the main four ladies, but also other actors like Carol Burnett and Tim Conway. It is probably one of the few shows out there that is a comedy that showcases older actors and actresses and that makes it stand out.I also like the shows that keep current, like the one with the Brony and the other where Elka paints that weird re-paint on a cathedral a year or so back. I find the plot lines to be unique. I will watch this show to the end and also its too spin off shows, because I did not know about them until now and they also have actors I like.
sam-victoria This is most annoying, unfunny and overall upsetting TV show I've seen in my life. I decide to turn on the TV for s simple Saturday night laughter, and I'm met with an ugly cast, untalented, group of rich women, who do not know a single thing about comedy. I hate how they say that it is filmed in front of a live audience, when it is clear there are audio clips of people laughing put in. This is what I hate. When a group of people come together only because of their rich husbands investing in their show, and bring out a waste of 3 hours on Television. Heck, put re-runs of Friends, HIMYM, anything really.Seriously, not going to lie this was the most horrendous thing I have probably ever seen in my life. Not only were the jokes not funny, but it made me think of exactly how people like this get together and make a show this freaking bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.1/10. F**king horrible.
Maribelle * I must admit that the scenarios are a bit unrealistic. However, sitcoms are meant to be funny and entertaining, so i really don't mind the unbelievable stories. Besides, which show is really «believable» today!? The cast-crew are fantastic and its been a LONG time since i laughed this hard during a show! The scripts and lines are funny, catchy and fit the characters very well! Its the new modern version of the Golden Girls and its just as funny! I LOVE Betty White in this role! I always wished to live this kind of commune life at my retired age and this show just makes me want it even more!!! LOL! Well, maybe even before my retiring years since these ladies surely don't look or are even close to their retirement!! Keep up the great work on this one cause I truly hope this show will last a long time! :)
earlytalkie I have to admit it. I am crazy about Betty White. I have just about every TV appearance she has ever done. Love her work from the early 50s until the present. I don't get cable, so I purchased the DVD of "Hot In Cleveland" when it came out. I knew that even if I didn't care for the show, I would care for Betty White in it. Surprise! The show is excellent. So good in fact that I would like it even if Betty wasn't in it. The other girls in the cast perform very well together to form a really good ensemble cast. This is also one of the few comedies made today that is filmed before a studio audience just like Betty's classic sitcoms. It's hard to believe that Betty is still going strong and really shows little sign of letting up. She is working harder than many actresses half her age. Betty, we love you and cherish you as the fine comedienne you are. Thank you for the many, many hours of classic comedy that you have given us.
