Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Btexxamar I like Black Panther, but I didn't like this movie.
    MoPoshy Absolutely brilliant
Beulah Bram A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
anniepav-21211 Love the story and adventures of the mother and daughter. like their relationship.
tkunkler-10833 I put this show on once when she was fussy because it seemed calm and wholesome. Two year olds have fits when sleepy and fight it, but something about this show is a baby sedative. I told my husband and he laughed at me, until one especially bad day he was home and I put on this show. After an almost hour long screaming fit, two minutes of this show and she was snoring. Very odd, but thank you Gilmore girls?
James Graham I am a 30 something male so probably not who this show was aimed at. I decided to watch it from the beginning and at first it was really great and I was hooked. As it went on though, I lost interest to the point I stopped watch a few episodes from the end of Season 1. The problem is that it shows a sugar filled perfect world. The Mother and Daughter only seem to eat pizza, sweets, burgers and drink coffee but have perfect figures and perfect skin. No bad things or bad people live in their perfect town. There is no homeless or drug problems. There is a light sprinkle of non white people. There is no money problems or worry. There appears to be no crime and possibly no police. I am probably not the right target for this show. Although my wife was a teenage girl when this was first show and doesn't like it either. It is well acted. The script and fast one liners is clever. But it is very slow, nothing much happens (a cat dying takes up a whole episode) and you just end up feeling "Why am I Watching This?"
pigsaidoink the first is this, some years ago when the show was in production, some Marine's serving in a combat zone(who's very hazardous job it was to hunt down snipers in the middle east) got into the habit of watching Gilmore Girls. it made a top Sgt. nervous, and that was fun enough to see, but it made them, tough, battle hardened Marine's feel like they are seeing HOME, sisters, mothers, girlfriends. and THAT can be a life saver to a service man. and they got the idea to get some gear from the on-line WB store.but all they had was girl sized tee's and tank tops. so one of the guys wrote and told who they were and what they wanted, I think it was Amy Sherman-Palladino, who sent the platoon box's and box's of CREW jackets. special clothing that a member of the regular crew would get when you work on a show or movie. when I heard the story on the radio, the Marine choked up, this was a big thing for them. that's why I started watching. #2 is I have been on the Warner Bros. studio lot in So. California. The Dragon Fly inn is the Wanton's house. if you look close the church was in the Dukes of Hazzard, THAT studio is full of film history. also the writing is top notch. it's really sad the WB was so short sighted to let her get away.
