philipryburn I'm sure I would have liked this show 10 years ago, but it's pretty average now. Maybe TV has come a long way... but I have now watched 6 episodes, and struggling to get into it still. Literally took a week of trying to get through the first episode. Not sure why all the 9-10 star reviews. So many shots that lag too long so that you think your TV is frozen, jokes that aren't funny, plots that aren't believable.

jenny_claire-33619 Love the show. Just wish they had done 5-7 more seasons and the a movie. When's the movie coming then??? We gotta see what happened to the town and people. I do hope they do a movie, would love that big time. I got all 5 seasons and would buy the movie as well if they made it. Hope you see a pattern here about making a movie. Hope the actors and actresses are doing great, just wishing that they will make a movie. Begging and pleading that there is a movie to be made. It's just a pity that each season was short. Loved the fact that the show was funny, but had some seriousness at same time. The only thing is they use the same main actors and actresses.

uhasneevarp I love sci-fi, and if you do too, please stay away from this BS. I can't believe they made through 5 seasons. I mean they always talk about science and yet the whole series is based on geniuses making bad and ill-logical decisions. I barely made it through the Pilot and could not continue to watch for more than 3 episodes. My friends stopped after 2 seasons and said it was an utter waste of time, and moreover, your intellect. The sense of humor actually annoys you and the acting makes you doze off. All in all, the idea was good, but the execution wasn't. The producers should have either changed the directors or canceled the series all together. Verdict : "Eh!".

jim-dicken I just read that the series was canceled. This is one of my favorite things to watch on Hulu when I am in Alaska. I save up the series to watch non stop when working in my cabin on cold rainy days. The series is a dramedy to me. It has some great comedy, with drama mixed in, and the series does not take itself too seriously. One of my favorite all time TV shows. Episodes are believable for a Sci-fy show. Nothing seems totally out of the reach of possibilities. The show is the perfect blend of the futuristic science and day to day personal contact issues. Melded into a great interaction amongst the cast. I will sorely miss this series. I have looked forward to it for several years now. The show is near perfection for a TV show.
