SoftInloveRox Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
Cleveronix A different way of telling a story
    Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
generationofswine Like so many others, I loved this cartoon as a kid and if I ever get into office I am going to end the regulations that ended Saturday morning cartoons.......and I could probably win an election using that as a single issue platform.......so, you know, note to self...I was about 7 when this was on TV. It's a cartoon made for children about that age. This is a cartoon about a man that was turned into a cyborg in an experiment and then took his family on a ski trip...only to have his family all die in an avalanche and then in order to bring them back to life turns them into cyborgs as well. And this was a cartoon made for children and I had a couple of the toys that came with it....So yeah, my parents would let me watch it at a young age, but no way is my sister letting her kids watch a cartoon with a plot like that.
buckmana Yeah, I didn't buy that Scarab didn't recognize them either. It would be different if he never met them in their civilian identities, but he did and should recognize them easily. I mean, they are a fairly distinctive group. And while we're on the subject, how come none of the classmates recognized them either? They were international celebrities, after all. And to cap it all off (before the remaining five get their superpowers), Bionic One's kids look at him on the telly and DON'T recognize him!!! I wish they would put this out on DVD soon. But there's hope, lots of those old shows are coming out now. I just got the final Transformers episodes where I live (on DVD), after buying every prior episode.
Dougie B Am I the only one who notices the ridiculous fact about this show that no one in the story could seem to figure out who the Bionic Six were? I mean, come on, not only did they NOT WEAR MASKS, but they were a family consisting of two Caucasian kids, an African-American and an Asian kid. Kind of hard to miss, yet it seemed in every episode people would be asking "Who are the Bionic Six?" Did the writers think the kids watching were complete morons?
spock065 What a wonderful opening theme song. In the 80's just about all the cartoons had catchy memorable theme songs, I wonder what happened. Bionic Six like anything from the 80's had a beautifully animated pilot episode. Bionic 1 was the first and then he took his family on a ski trip, while on the trip aliens landed and the family got caught in an avalanche. Bionic 1 brought his family to Prof. Sharp, and the only way to save the family was to give them Bionics. Prof. Sharp had a brother and his brother was the arch villain of the series, named Scarab. Wonderful writing, brother against brother, family fighting together side by side. Enjoyable for anyone young or old, you can enjoy it at many different levels.
