    CheerupSilver Very Cool!!!
    Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
Livestonth I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
supermalwina I'm tired of tv shows claiming to be adaptations of books and then having nothing to do with them aside from the names of the characters...
rosepernice-448-282173 Nonsense, meaningless and a waste of time. : "American Gods" is cringe-worthy, cliche-ridden faux surrealism. It's just an awful show. Not even deliciously horrible. Just an exhibition of bad taste.
tpadvertising Boring. Slow. Nonsensical. This show has zero plot, provides zero empathy with the characters and throws in cut away scenes that go on for far far too long, diverting you from the 'main' storyline which at best, trundles along. Let's look at the characters: Shadow - who is constantly questioning his purpose in this story, so are we mate. Mr Wednesday - McShane is great, but I get the feeling this is a payday not a passion project. Too good for this. The leprechaun - Is a lesson in bad writing (like the rest of the show tbf)The Russian nutcase - He really likes killing cows and or people. I don't get it.Any of the cutaway God character/stories (the ones that go on way too long and don't engage you as a viewer in the slightest) - Just boring and insanely obscure, with no context given and a real challenge to watch without contemplating the poor life choices you made that brought you to that moment. In a nutshell American Gods is the long form version of Only God Forgives - visually beautiful, but with a story so poor it makes you check your watch constantly to see how much longer you need to endure this car crash.
rocailstudios We just binged watched this in one night then did it again. Mad Sweeney is one of the greatest characters on TV. I know he came first but he's on par with Nick Sacks from Happy. If nothing else watch it just for the Dead Wife dialogue.
