Brightlyme i know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
MumboJumbo The other reviewers weer clearly in it for the penis jokes, and I guess they must be brainwashed into political correctness to the point that they completely missed the gay sex jokes and several instances of penis jokes, sure it's not a very memorable movie but it was a solid one in its own right, without spoiling anything, there is a scene where the main characters are riding bumper cars at a theme park and a little girl bumps one of them into the side rail, so they all drive towards and bump her at the same time, (keep in mind that bumper cars do not move very fast and its actually difficult to get a good hit on someone) she inexplicably launches into the ceiling and not another word is mentioned of the incident. if that's not hilarious then this movie is not for you. if you just want a series of penis jokes maybe you should check out some other film.
Paul Magne Haakonsen One question; what happened to the laughs? "Wieners", as a comedy, failed to deliver. From the looks of the cover, it looks like a fairly straight up comedy that resembles something of a mix between a Nation Lampoons and typical teenage comedy. And I do believe that the movie appeals to a younger audience, but still, what happened to the laughs? For a movie with a name like "Wieners", you would assume there would be more sausages and jokes related to guy's private parts in it, but oddly enough there was almost none of either. The movie had potential to put up a lot of such moments, but just didn't do it.This is basically just a dull version of a road-trip movie that didn't make it all the way to the goal. The cast in "Wieners" were fairly good. The movie was carried by Kenan Thompson (playing Wyatt), and he was also the one that sported the most laughs, for some reason. He got help from Zachary Levi (playing Ben) and Fran Kranz (playing Joel). On the list are more interesting names such as Darrell Hammond (playing Dr. Dwayne), Mindy Sterling (playing Mrs. Applebaum) and a super great performance by Blake Clark (playing Mr. Applebaum).I had expected to be laughing more throughout the movie, so I was disappointed when the movie ended, and I was left with a hot dog that sadly enough was missing mustard, ketchup and the works.
Jackpollins I've been hearing a lot of bad things about the comedy, Wieners. I happened to run into it on television, and all I have to say is that it is a very, very funny movie. Kenan Thompson is very funny as Wyatt, who along with his two friends, Ben (the fantastic Zachary Levi), and Joel (Fran Kranz) go on a road trip to take revenge on a TV show host named Dr. Dwayne (Darrell Hammond) who insulted them. This turns into your typical, stupid road trip film. The only difference is that this is literally breathtakingly funny. It was not smart, but I found myself laughing continuously. One of the funnier, yet more disgusting moments involves Jenny McCarthy as their formerly hot teacher, Ms. Isaac who has now become an unattractive redneck. This movie may understandingly not speak to some, but for fans of comedies like Road Trip, American Pie, and Old School, this will be undeniably fun. Even for some non-fans of those types of films, this movie should definitely without a doubt be extremely funny. Thompson, Levi, Kranz, and Hammond have all been excellent before, and are good as ever here. Definitely one worth checking out.
BettyChampagne Where's the mustard… where's the relish… where's the wieners!!! This "movie" is a really lame attempt at a buddy/road trip movie in the vein of National Lampoon comedies. There are a few laughs, all of which come courtesy of Kenan Thompson, but it's easy to be funny when you are firing off jokes every three seconds… literally!!! I like Kenan's work on SNL, but unfortunately his character is not interesting enough to fix this broken Wiener. His character is very annoying and he shoots almost every line in the movie like he's trying to reach the back row of a live audience. Some of his jokes do hit the mark, but suffice it to say… a little Kenan goes a long way! The rest of the film is just okay, but there are a few gross-out scenes that drag down my rating i.e. who needs to see someone pick their butts, belly buttons, etc… and the "spit" scene - YUCK!I'm sure there's an audience for this sophomoric attempt at comedy, but I think even the most juvenile of audiences won't find much to laugh at with this wienie attempt of a movie.
