That Darn Punk Trailers

The straight-to-video feature That Darn Punk was produced by a new film division of the Kung Fu record label, and its soundtrack features a number of punk-pop bands, some of whom are, naturally, signed to the label. Several songs were recorded especially for the film by bands like Nerf Herder, No Motiv, and the Vandals, while much of the material recorded by the label's own roster is exclusive to the soundtrack or at least previously unissued. Plus, there are a few cuts licensed from bands like Pennywise, Rancid, and Lagwagon.

Reviews

SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Catangro After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
Linda Whalen (windatheicequeen) This movie had it all. I enjoyed it for it's artistic quality. The music was great and made me move my feet. It is recommended by me to viewers that love music with an interesting plot. I like the music and how it fits in with the action sequences. The actors were very good in their roles. Each took to the plot their interesting personalities. The talent made it better through their outstanding acting ability. It wasn't a pretentious or over the top production. I really got to care about the people they each portrayed. Lots of plot twists plus I never would've guessed the ending in a million years. Worth watching for movie and music fans alike.
thatdarnpunk22 This was a very cool movie. The vandals are a very awesome band, and did a good job making this movie. I should also add that the sound track for the movie really rocked. I highly recommend getting it. This is a movie for any real punk fan!
warpspasm9 while the film begins like a high school play, it and the actors seem to improve steadily. It's weird enough and real enough to give a vague David Lynchian feeling, most of all it's just fun, and if "Punk" represents a departure from the mainstream, then "that darn punk" is a true punk achievement.
Kzinti9 I liked this film a lot because it was interesting and different in concept and form. A total pleasure to watch & there was just so much about it that set my imagination to blaze. With its great plot and acting it kept me in suspense & humor throughout. What a great combination and I highly recommend this marvelous movie. Totally excellent! Thank you for a great movie.
