An ex-con kidnaps a Christian couple in a bid to avenge his son's murder in this faith-based thriller starring Angus MacFayden and Haylie Duff. Years ago, Lucas Blackstone (Macfadyen) watched helplessly as his son was killed in cold blood. Years later, upon being released from prison, Lucas determines to see justice served at the business end of a .357. After kidnapping Shawn Everett (Bradley Dorsey) and his wife Carrie (Duff) from a campsite, Lucas instructs them to drive him to the town of Trinity so he may carry out the execution. Now as the trio drives to their grim destination, Lucas learns that Shawn and Carrie have put their trust in their faith to save their broken marriage. Unmoved by their devotion, he threatens to take their lives if they try to stop him. Later, a shocking discovery about his intended target leaves the grieving father questioning everything he ever thought he knew.

Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Darin One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.
jimanuel12 This is a good movie - especially from a Christian standpoint. Of course it is a Christian movie and it comes off as pretty good. the ending is the best - I won't spoil for anyone but it is a little slow at first. The husband actor is not the best but overall it is a very good movie for forgiveness and redemption. The so-called bad guy is a very good actor and so are most of the other actors. The detectives are good actors also. The scenes are from out west and the production budget was low of course but it is not really that bad. Hailey Duff is also a good actor in the movie. It is well worth the time to watch - you will be surprised at how it all ends.
bkoganbing Angus Macfayden newly released from prison where he did a term for manslaughter. He happens upon a young Christian couple Bradley Dorsey and Haylie Duff who are going through a rough patch in their own marriage and are trying to deal with it. Rather than just steal a car from them or anyone else, he kidnaps Dorsey and Duff and tries to get their unwilling help in a plot to murder the murderer of his young son. It's soon clear that there's a lot more going on here than meets the eye and it takes a while for Dorsey and Duff to figure out what's happening. Figuring it out much faster are detectives Kevin Downes and Jaiden Kane, but then again they go right to the source which is Macfayden's estranged wife Danielle Hoetmer who tells them what is truly on his mind. From these Christian film makers comes a sincere and true story of a man who later founded his own ministry. Production values are slim and the direction isn't the best. But it's all right for the market that it attempts to reach.
