Reviews
Ploydsge just watch it!
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
artonbenignoab First of all, this movie is really awesome, the acting of both main lead (Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper) is amazing, the directing, the music everything about the movie is fantastic, especially the story, where do i begin, it's a story about a guy(Pat) that just out from mental hospital, after almost killed the man that cheated with his wife. He than met with a girl(Tiffany) that is going to help him contacting his wife, because he wants to be back with her, after that Pat and Tiffany became friends and help each other out. In this movie we can see how Pat starts to deal with his issues by meeting Tiffany and hanging out with her. I just think that this movie is super amazing, do not read the review that say this movie is really bad, they said there is no message in this movie, well you just stupid, if you say that.... Just watch this movie and you will see how amazing this movie is...(i can say it hundreds of times).... I rated it 10/10 and sorry about my bad english....
BittersweetTea After watching the movie I peeked at the reviews and was surprised that many people were upset that the movie didn't display a person dealing with such things realistically. Personally, I think their behaviour fit well with the genre and general mood of the movie and I didn't find it entirely odd (though there were some holes in the plot that were overlooked). The movie was missing the lows of the bipolar state but as I can see they didn't go for a realistical portrayal this is fair. I think the heights were somewhat there - the naivety that he's going to get his wife back, his attempts to get better or her motivation to deceive him about Nikky's letters. Some of their irrational behaviour was on spot. Everyone was a tad ill which added on the comedy factor. This is by no means a serious movie.Illness aside, the plot definitely had some issues. We don't learn what he says to Nikky at the end (which should be important to us) for one, and it's highly unrealistic that she would go seeing him after she cheated on him. I think they missed to add some more dramatic scenes for us to see the two protagonist resolve their past, so we'd get a closure - this stage was completely skipped and they moved from being sick to being fine in one go.The acting was nice and I had fun watching it despite the holes in the plot, although it's not worth rewatching.
leethomas-11621 Life/people are complicated and this movie portrays that brilliantly. But it is at times static and then bamboozles its audience with sports betting jargon and then loses me with superstition and finally a pat ending that hides any worries we might have about the characters' future. And didn't we all guess that Pat knew what he reveals at the end? Performances are great. Pity the movie doesn't bear scrutiny.
ckw5205 This movie SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a no star rating?
