scott-1657 I really feel like I should give this a 10 instead of a 9. I personally can't think of anything wrong with it, except I rarely give 10s, and this is not Citizen Kane nor the Godfather. However, this a true story (okay, I didn't Google it to see how accurate it is), and an inspirational one. I'm not a reviewer who needs to recap the plot, the action, the performances, though each actor was great... well, the prosecution were maybe a little cliche and James Cromwell was kind of a dick, but ... you know ... in those days, I can't say the real people weren't. And probably Mr. Marshall was played a little more lofty and infallible than he was in real life. Or maybe not. What a hero. So I'll just say that if you're an American (or anyone) with a soul and a conscience, you'll probably really enjoy this film. I did.

realdjleandro After watching Marshall Movie a few things come to mind :1) Chadwick Boseman has been on my 'kick ass actor' radar since '42' 2) Josh Gad is like a discounted version of Jonah Hill ... Except not as funny 3) In the movie Chadwick is smoking , drinking , getting drunk and yet hes ripped as hell ... and Josh's character is swimming all day and well ..... you get the picture 4) Its quite a predictable movie 5) Its so sad that this is how people treated each other 6) Even more sad that racism like this still exists ... OK , not as bad but still racism is rife 7) I would like to see a biography on this mans life 8) 'Hey , thats Kate Hudson . She looks good ' 9) I love courtroom dramas 10) Overall , pretty damn good

welsh-86923 For a film that highlights racial injustice, it is strikes the right mix of serious dialogue emotion and humor. it was in all instances a master piece. It is not uncomfortable to watch. solid acting.
