Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Michael Ledo Try not to think to hard about the impossibilities of cold blooded prehistoric crocodiles not having to bask long hours in the sun. Don't think about the young boy who has fed these same crocs for TWO years without anyone noticing any crocodiles anywhere. Nor think about the giant crocs knowledge of household layouts or their ability to quickly move and navigate through dense woods. The monster size crocs look like they are made of rubber.The movie has a couple with a son move into a home when grandma dies. Grandma kept a chainsaw in the refrigerator. On the first day, the son finds the crocs and feeds them as pets, careful not to get too close. Unlike adults, boats, and automobiles, the crocs don't attack him. Dad is a wildlife ranger and mom is a Realtor. There is a sheriff who claims there are no crocs. The lake has been searched with sonar. The are four college kids out camping/ swimming on the lake. There is also a woman who is a guide for poaching elk who takes out a party which include one college kid searching for his girlfriend who is part of the said four. The story is simple. You could probably guess most of it by now and the only real question is who lives and who dies.The movie includes the standard 1980's three gratuitous nude scenes, including one early full frontal in the unrated version. One sex scene. PLOT SPOILER: The babysitter keeps her clothes on.

Uriah43 This movie begins with two hikers venturing into the Black Lake Wildlife Area and deciding to go for a swim. They are quickly devoured by hungry crocodiles. The scene then shifts to a young married couple by the names of "Nathan Bickerman" (Colin Ferguson) and "Susan Bickerman" (Kirsty Mitchell) taking up residence in a small cabin by the lake with their young son named "Connor" (Jordan Grehs). As it so happens Nathan is a zoologist employed by the Black Lake Wildlife Area while Susan works in real estate for the nearby town. This leaves Connor frequently alone or with a babysitter named "Vica" (Bianca Ilich). However, he manages to relieve his boredom by feeding some nearby animals which he adopts as pets. What he doesn't understand is that these crocodiles will happily stay in the vicinity near the cabin as long as they are fed. It's when they aren't fed that they become dangerous to anybody who happens to venture into the area. And soon there are plenty of people who do just that. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this movie suffered from the same problems that plagued the last film. Specifically, the director (Griff Furst) tried to mix comedy with both action and horror in the same manner as his predecessor (David Flores) and pretty much attained the same result—only a little worse. Likewise, the decision to showcase several crocodiles for the sake of more action instead of focusing on just one or two really scary creatures and greater suspense also dampened what could have easily been a decent horror film. But apparently cheap laughs were more important. For those reasons I have rated the film accordingly. Below average.

jacobjohntaylor1 In spite of what people part three better then part one most of the time. This better then the original Lake Placid. Lake Placid 2 is scarier. But still this very scary. It has great acting. It also has a great story line. It also has great special effects. It is very intense . It is a great film most some a lot people probably don't like. The critics probably don't like it. It is a sequel so they most hate it. This most is must see. It is a great horror film. It very cool movie. I may not seen very good to people who would not know a good monster movie if there life depended on it. IF you want to see a very scary movie then you need to see this movie. This a great movie. It very scary see it. If you got scared of Sinister the this should real scary you. You may not want to watch this alone.

jlthornb51 Colin Fergusson gives a superb performance in director G.E. Furst's exciting entry in the Lake Placid saga. Yancy Butler and dependable Michael Ironside provide strong support with Butler giving the proceedings some much needed comedy relief. However, the light hearted moments are overshadowed by the dark, gritty horror of the giant alligator attacks that threaten to destroy all life. The shocks are unrelenting and the suspense builds to a shattering climax that is almost more than can be endured. The script is intelligent and fast paced and the images of the crocodiles in all their horrific ferocity are nothing less than haunting. This is a film that will cause many second thoughts before anyone swims in a lake again. Hi octane thrills from start to finish and Fergusson has never been better.
