Kaboom Trailers

Smith, a typical young college student who likes partying and engaging in acts of random sex and debauchery, has been having some interesting dreams revolving around two gorgeous women -- and is shocked when he meets the dream girls in real life. Lorelei looks just like his fantasy brunette, while a mysterious red-haired girl being chased by assassins draws him into an international conspiracy. Or is it all just a drug-induced hallucination?

Reviews
Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
ScoobyWell Great visuals, story delivers no surprises
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
jdebra13 I get that this was the director's attempt at a dream-like film. His attempt at subjectivity. But it is pretty sub-par at that. The character are emotionless and lifeless and could have been played by anyone. Literally any person. The gratuitous sex just got irritating after awhile.I've seen the film described as a "youth culture" film and it doesn't even deserve that title. I get that this is supposed to be empowering towards gay culture as well and I'm all for that. Have two gay lead characters is great and refreshing. But having them just have sex the entire movie is not a movie. Its a soft core porno.Overall, I don't recommend this film to anyone. I was expecting a trippy, experimental dream- like film, and I got something completely different.
Greenzombidog This is quite clearly the work of someone going through a midlife crisis. Part remembering those long lost college days but mostly creating a past that they'd wished they'd lived. This movie is basically Roger Avery's Rules of attraction processed through the mind of a drag queen. The masturbation fantasy of a frustrated old man. Most of us remember our college days and the ridiculous rubbish we used to say but this movie takes that to another level with the characters talking some real cringe inducing shite. Line upon line of paltry faux-intelectualism, enough to make a little bit of your soul die just by hearing it. Cheap ass set design like you'd see on any Australian soap opera, horrible wardrobe everything about this movie looks cheap. The cast are all attractive young people just going around posing, preening and having sex with each other. Then you get some awful weak scifi garbage going on then the whole film just disappears up it's own arse.I got sick of seeing Thomas Dekker pouting and gurning into the camera. It started to feel like I was watching the directors own voyeuristic desire for the young actor as his face seemed to constantly be filling the screen. I'm sure there was probably more of this footage in the dailys that made it's way into his personal collection. This film is a total waste of anyones time.
thekarmicnomad The underlying theme of this quirky movie is sex, and there is lots of it. We are not talking porno sex here but there is more than enough semi naked, bouncing booby, girl on girl, boy on girl, boy on boy action to go around. Definitely not one to watch with granny.Take the sex out and there really isn't an awful lot left. The plot is a bit zany and all the exposition is jammed into the last eight minutes. But saying that I did find the film entertaining and the characters (although totally off-the-wall) interesting. The story has very little cohesion, but the acting and stylised characters carry it through.
dominicdelaware When people start talking about a directors previous films as a supporting material for his current one, it's not a good sign. This film is poorly plotted and paced. The actors put in committed performances but the script is laughable. Never as edgy as it seems to think it is. The actors lines fall like lead balloons from their lips. I wasn't sure if Kaboom was intentionally aiming for so-bad-its-good fare, but it missed the mark on that score. I've seen this film called 'Donnie Darko meets Rules of Engagement'; in reality if it was just a little worse, it could have been a Sci-fi Showgirls - but instead of being truly bad, it's merely mediocre. Some great performances to be fair, but a bad film that isn't bad enough to be worth recommending.
