Tony I rate this 7 which to me means a decent film, I just came across it and gave it a go. I enjoyed it for what it is, a feel good about yourself whoever you are type film. It's no must see, but enjoyable if you've the time. If any ladies say ditto, I'm going to stop it right there.

Davis P It's a boy girl thing (2006) is a very well made film, it may surprise some people that it's so good, because it looks like just an average throw away teenage flick. This movie rises above that level of quality and turns out to be very touching, intimate, and perfect young adult fair. I loved the casting, they all did a fabulous job. Kevin Zegers is just perfect in the role of Woody Deane, he is just the stereotypical high school football jock who only cares about girls and rap music at first, but he evolves throughout the films course and changes for the better. Samaire Armstrong plays her role well, she is Nell Bedworth, the very smart girl in school that's got Yale in her future. The movie is written well and the script makes you care about the main characters, the writing deepens the woody and nell's connection. The comedy in the movie is good, although to be honest, this isn't a comedy film, it's more of a romantic drama with a fantasy element attached to it. It's perfect fair for youth, and it's better than the average movie targeted toward to a young audience. 9/10 for it's a boy girl thing.

ani_love_99 When I first downloaded the movie it did not expect to like because of the negative comments, but after I looked at it then ran three more times in one day. Now he's my favorite movie. It's so entertaining and fascinating. I laughed the whole time. It was great to see the love between Woody and Nell blossomed in a different and fun way. I really liked the end when they fell in love in each other because they got to know each other in a quite different way and realized that they have for each other. This movie is really better than the other. Because this reveals the love between two people who initially hated. It's great how at the end he dumped her crown just for her because he realized he was in love with her and wants to be with her no matter that a few months will not be able to see each other. It was fun and a really great movie made​​. There was a scene that does not laugh. Kevin Zegers and Samaire Armstrong are the best for the roles. I recommend it to everyone. You will not regret it.

copperncherrio A overachieving but cute girl and a hot stupid school jock are neighbors, hating each other as long as they have known. Blah, blah, blah, they argue and bicker in front of some mystical statue at a museum (seriously you'd think people in movies would have figured it out by now…). Anyways, the next morning the two wake up and find out that they have switched bodies.Considering that this is a teenish movie, this isn't very typical teen… they take some pretty drastic moves in hating each other whilst in each other's body… ***SPOILER** like threatening to lose the other's virginity.Damn considering the main star of the movie looks very much like a Zac Efron genre of guy and the girl looks a bit out of place and that this is the most overused movie plot of all movie plots, this movie actually wasn't that bad. I didn't cringe with hate or have horrible flashbacks.Looking past all the girl and boy jokes, I surprisingly entertained, and didn't mind the whole body switchero thing… The ending was a bit confusing ( do mean the 20 seconds before the credits), but whatever
