Reviews
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
ash-39976 I don't rate movies but I use IMDb a lot before deciding to watch a movie. This is my first review because the injustice here was too much for me to bear. I like movies, so will give anything with a 6 or higher a shot. For the most part, the ratings on here are pretty good, not always (I triangulate with a few other sites before committing to a movie). Well this one was WAY OFF. I am glad I did not let the ratings and reviews dissuade me, because this is a great movie. If you like Paul Rudd (I am a big fan), don't mind Reese (I like her even more now), like Owen Wilson (yep), love Jack (who doesn't?) and loved Terms of Endearment and As Good as it Gets, you will NOT REGRET watching this movie. Enjoy.
mrudul-gupta Everyone has times when things gets tough and they need to toughen up but life keeps moving on and we have to keep up with other stuff in life. So that's what this movie is about, in a funny way. So do watch it. Everyone has their own ideas of what a romantic comedy should be like. I am a practical, logical girl and i despise romantic comedies with too much gooey stuff. This movie was just the right amount of everything. Honestly the phrases used have so much deeper meaning, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Paul Rudd is so honest in his role, and Owen Wilson is such a cutie as always!! I really enjoyed the movie, and don't look so much into the movie, its light and funny!
omestudio This a movie full of moments, dialogs, expressions, situations that really show to much about life, love and parenthood. This is my 4th time I watch this movie and overtime it's getting better. Underrated it's not the word for this movie, its just that people doesn't get it. And let my tell you that Resse its great here, Paul to, and Jack, well maybe it will be his last movie so he's great to, but the big win is James, he it's a master of feelings, he is the best for making me laugh and cry, one of my favorite directors. I will love to hear that James is working in another movie, please do more. I might add that maybe the reason for the people don't get the movie its because they don't want to open their hearts, or simply they don't know how, how do you know? Thanks!!
craig-340-777546 Grandma was right, judging by this cast this show seems outstanding! It was slow, I nodded off twice only to awaken to find it was still not over yet. Poorly written and delivered dialog that sounded more like a first reading than a seasoned actor droned on and on and on.......The ONLY memorable funny line was so crass and pointless I don't even want to repeat it. Reese Witherspoon seemed cold and confused about what she was suppose to do, Owen Wilson sounded like he was waiting for someone to feed him a line or cue him the whole time. Paul Rudd, stared most of the movie like a moron without a clue. Jack Nicholson looked and acted so badly I though it HAD to be someone else. A totally unexpected joy to watch was Kathryn Hahn. Although at times compared to the others her OVER THE TOP acting was on the edge of crazy her tone made it hysterical and I really enjoyed her mood swings and silly attitude.....she showed up with her A game....the only thing I really appreciated it.....not funny, not romantic, not well so bury it with Ishtar and call it a lesson in what not to do.....
