A festive crime comedy about a confused innkeeper who involuntarily finds himself becoming entangled in a larger crime-affair where the villains have stolen and smuggled a precious diamond baked in a cake ...

Reviews
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
steenh True, it is an awful movie, but I knew that before seeing it, so I was duly prepared. In any case I had a good time:1) Spotting the many and very obvious holes in the plot2) Laughing at the wrong times3) Noting the many hidden commercials (this was before commercial TV in Denmark)4) Admiring the awful character playIt is definitely worth viewing (for a Danish national at least)
Henrik Stender This film is really bad, and gives other good old Danish films, a very bad reputation. Neither Axel Strøbye or Ulf Pilgaard doesn't have anything to work with here. Preben Mahrt, Kai Løvring and Poul Bundgaard is directly annoying. Sonja Oppenhagen is cute though, Baard Owe believable, and Ole Høyer's typical 1970's score is interesting. But that's all. It's very bad slapstick parodies, seen much better in silent movies. So only 3/10 for this bad direction - if any.
