Desert Saints Trailers

Banks is a hit man, the best, usually working for Latin American drug cartels. He picks up solitary women, uses them briefly for a job, then kills them. He's in the Southwest, headed toward Mexico, when he picks up Bennie, a woman leaving an abusive marriage, going to Paradise, Arizona. The film follows three tracks: Banks's slow recruitment of Bennie, the set-up for the hit at a swank resort in Mexico, and the FBI's close pursuit of Banks, whom they want alive in hopes he'll rat out his bosses. Bennie may not be who she seems, and there may be a chink in Banks's tough-guy armor. Guns, money, and a chance at Paradise.

Reviews
Stevecorp Don't listen to the negative reviews
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Orla Zuniga It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.
mayface I watched this because I am a Kiefer Sutherland Fan. If you are as well you won't be disappointed. A great performance by Sutherland as Banks, leaving you wandering if you will ever find out what is going on in his psyche.Bennie's voice was a tad annoying as was her character, but Walters played the part well. Fantastic performance by Sutherland in the car when he too is getting annoyed with Bennie!!I liked the ambiguous ending - who was the shot for??? For a film I thought was going to be a B-Movie I was surprised at how good it was. Not a B-Movie in my mind. Definitely an enjoyable way of spending an hour and a half.Oh, and Kiefer is FWOOOOOAAARRR!!!!
monkey-man 3rd movie in my Kiefer Sutherland movie marathon.I have seen half of Kiefers movies and this movie is really good but he has been in way better movies then this one.Kiefer does a great job at acting in this movie and so does the good looking Melora Walters from the good movie The Butterfly Effect. There are some good scenes in this movie like when Kiefer shoots a man in the bath room and all the scenes in the end of the movie are all so good.Over all this is a good Kiefer Sutherland movie and it is worth renting and my rating is 6 out of 10.
erosen This may not be the best or most original movie I've ever seen but it kept my interest for a few hours. And Keifer is always nice to look at. I'm not sure why exactly it skipped around in time... other than that it was your basic stone-faced-hitman-psycho-learns-to-smile-when-he-meets-a-chick film. It was somewhat predictable but suspenseful enough to be interesting. Good way to kill some time on a rainy day. Well, it tells me I have to have ten lines to comment so... did I mention that Keifer Sutherland is hot? It was nice to see him in a cable-TV-worthy love scene. I didn't quite get the thing with the waitress he hooks up with every few years? Why doesn't he use her for a murder and kill her? I would have thought that was a useless plotline but then again it was an excuse for more Keifer-gettin-it-on action.
southerndust This movie was really sweet because of Kiefer. The part in the trailer is really cool; he is asked if he is a psycho-killer and he flips around real quick. You should watch that a bunch of times first. Then watch the movie. The movie ends too quick but the ending is what you want if you like Kiefer.
