I started watching this thinking its a straight up prison movie but its actually a whole bunch of things mixed together. Theres fighting, theres over the top violence, theres comedy and theres good old fashioned one-man-show kinda story. Vince Vaughn plays an unusual tough guy. He does a really good job at it but I cant say i loved his fighting. This is not a realistic prison movie and they made sure to emphasize it with over the top, almost comedic, scenes. A soon to be father drug dealer goes to prison and he has to hurt some people in there to save his kidnapped wife and unborn baby.

Did not expect much, just came by this at random. Don't be fooled by the people who expected "The breakup 2". Vince Vaughn stars in this. Old school type fighting scenes, great paced "action" and screenplay you can just accept you know? I mean, how can you not like it? When you see a movie title like this, what do expect? I liked it.

It was really good. It was very gritty and brutal. It had that grind-house feel to it. Its definitely #vincevaughn best performance for years. The supporting cast did a good job also. I totally recommend this film. 7/10

The title could not be clearer and still the amount and level of violence still may take some by surprise. That doesn't mean you don't have a story or rather character development. Great acting, great choreography and a very powerful story, that really can be gripping. Our main character may not be a perfect role model, but he is very charismatic.And things happen, especially when he has to team up and do things that go against his moral code. So even when he decides to do the right thing, that gets him into trouble - and therefor also the people he loves and holds dear to him. From there ... well it's one of the best prison movies out there, if you don't mind the visceral and brutal things that are happening on screen ...
