Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies Trailers

Steve, a young professional snowboarder, ruins a high-paying photo shoot by playing a silly prank. He, his girlfriend Branka and fellow snowboarder Joschi are left behind on the mountain. They seek shelter in an après-ski tavern that is hosting an all-night party. Things go from bad to worse when a scientific experiment unleashes an epidemic of zombies and mutant wildlife. This is mostly lost on the local drunkards, as they are not always easy to distinguish from zombies themselves. But Steve, Branka and Joschi have to find a way to survive this hellish night.

Reviews
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
WillSushyMedia This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
Stephan Hammond It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
GL84 Arriving at an Austrian ski-resort, a film-crew looking to film a documentary on their friend finds that the owners' attempt to liven up their lackluster season has inadvertently unleashed a zombie apocalypse in the area and must use their extreme sports skills to get away. This here is one of the finer zombie comedies around. One of the finer aspects of this one is the unbridled sense of fun this one has with the overall presentation here. Starting with the ludicrous concept that exposes the point of this one at the beginning, this one takes its concept and runs with it as it sells this goofy sense of humor that has the group attempting a sales-pitch to a client visibly foaming at the mouth from an accident, the skier coming up to a preteen admirer in the nude or the endless one-liners that spring up about them being stuck in this situation. The meta-ness of the situation gives this some more to like as well, from the ability to recognize their plight and the different matter of tactics they employ to get away feature a nice amount of cleverness in dealing with the zombies. Since the zombie outbreak is handled early on here with the change occuring during the middle of the dance party as the infected weaves through the crowd slowly turning the others into the infected which starts this off with plenty of fun as they deal with the seriousness of the zombie outbreak in humorous manners, From the attack in the bathroom where they lead the creatures into the stall next door to their attempt to escape a horde using a nearby sign and the ambushes out in the woods where they not only find the rabid woodland creatures but also the few zombies out in the wilderness where it showcases the one true manner of stalling their advances. That clever tactic is put to fine use in the final half where it details their exploits against the creatures inside the tavern where it all comes through with a series of spectacular humorous battles with the creatures that effectively ties in their snowboarding skills to help finish off the creatures which piles on numerous practical gore effects for the zombies to get dismembered and torn up in creative fashion that brings about plenty to like in the splatter sequences. These all combined give this enough to hold it up over it's one minor flaw as there's no way even Rated Unrated/R: Extreme Graphic Violence, Graphic Language and Brief Nudity.
jadcarternm156 What an awful film. I have no idea what other reviewers are thinking, anyone would think this was to the zombie spoof genre what Godfather was to gangster films. I did not laugh once and the gore and special effects were worse than a Sinbad film. The only thing worth watching in the film was Gabriela Marcinkova who is extremely beautiful. Avoid at all costs.
julianrhm-32597 "Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies" is the kind of movie you'd expect to spawn a line of sequels and a devoted cult following. Horror fans will watch "Lederhosen Zombies" and appreciate director Dominik Hartl and crew's stylish use of practical effects while casual movie-goers will sit back, bring out the popcorn, and have fun with this jam-packed, new- age horror flick. The film opens against a backdrop of the Austrian Alps with pro-snowboarder Steve (played by baby-faced Laurie Calvert) shredding downhill, hoping to score the deal of a lifetime. When his antics get him into trouble, he loses a sponsor and a way out of the mountains. Steve, girlfriend Branka (Gabriela Marcinkova), and buddy Josh (Oscar Giese) seek assistance at a nearby pub but discover their only way out is, of course, temporarily unavailable until further notice. The film then spirals deeper, darker, and bloodier down a neon scape of carnage as if straight out of a late 80s horror flick.Like a horror flick out of the late 80s, there are also laughs and humor interspersed throughout. It's 2017, though, and the humor here is self-aware and ironic. "Lederhosen Zombies" takes jabs at the classic horror/zombie film formula while telling its own story. It's not as satirical as, say, the "Scary Movie" franchise, but it's in the same vein. If you're looking for new horror films to sink your teeth into, watch "Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies" on your next Friday night movie binge.
Sean Rivera Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is an exhilarating, fast paced gore-fest that plays with the troupes of a classic genre and elevates them to delightful, satirical bliss. The classic set up all horror fans love are here! The director playfully twists them into an entertaining, high wire act of comedy-horror that real horror film fans will surely appreciate. The film is about a cocky ski star who must step up to do what's right when a zombie outbreak begins in the Austrian Alps (no thanks to a well meaning Austrian scientist) and simultaneously tries to win his strong willed girlfriend back. Director Dominik Hartl wisely takes advantage of his snowy locations with the assistance of his cinematographer, using anamorphic lenses to add gorgeous scope to his setting with care that aspiring cinematographers will surely take copious notes of. The actors have A-game with their willingness to take every situation their characters experience with levity and appreciated focus. This film has some surprising delights that range from classical music appreciating dancing zombies (reminiscent of Polanski's The Fearless Vampire Killers) to the chic and sleek snowboarding of Steve (Laurie Calvert) that will having you cheering for the heroes and excited for the winter olympics!I thought this was a great addition to my ever expanding film collection. Any REAL fans of cult and retro horror films looking for something new and fresh with incredible visuals, hilarious fast paced action, and of course, hungry Austrian zombies should definitely check this one out. It's killer!
