Reviews
Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
bethgriffin I've never written a review before so bare with me. I felt the urge to write one today as I feel this movie is heavily underrated. I voted highly as I would like to see the ratings up. Firstly I can see how this movie could be misinterpreted as just another cheesy mafia film. To be honest it kind of is for all the right reasons especially if you're a lady loving lady. Sure this movie isn't for everyone but it is fun and light-hearted.If you're a woman who likes women. I want you to think of a LGBT themed movie that has a happy, light, funny storyline....go on....take your time...'But I'm A Cheerleader' doesn't count! ...something with a realistic script.I know I'm struggling to think of one. That's the point I want to make. We don't have enough movies like this, where we can just sit back and enjoy the laugh without someone dying, breaking up or going through emotional struggle. I feel like this movie ticks all the right boxes. Maybe it is a 10/10 not as a film in general, but in terms of LGBT films. When I first watched this film I too was quick to judge it just another cheesy mafia film. However, after the numerous times watching it, it is now one of my favourite lesbian movies. If my rambling hasn't put you off then I urge you to go watch this film! and remember......don't judge a book by its cover (or movie..so to speak)
Subrat Jain Don't go on the rating. 4.4/10 really is a false number. I am not saying this is a masterpiece of any sorts. But, is a decently pleasant and funny film with a lesbian undertone. nothing too arousing or graphic though. The story revolves around Frankie who is a homosexual who still hasn't come out of the closet yet. Her sister is a thrill seeker infatuated with the idea of Italian mafia. The story really starts when Frankie finds herself being attracted towards Nicolette who is the daughter of a mobster. The plot though very simple also focuses on various issues like your background, heritage and most importantly your orientation. Diana DeGarmo shines in her role as Sofia and remains in character throughout the movie. Natalie Knepp plays the role the of beautiful and charismatic NIcolette and does a very decent job at that. The others actors too are likable. The story though a bit cheesy in places is believable. Ignore the rating and give this a go. It will be a nice thing to pass your time on a lazy weekend evening.
