Reviews
Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
Sameeha Pugh It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
adonis98-743-186503 Loser Thomas Pearson is sent to a house in Albany with his family for the summer. During a storm, he and his cousin, jake meet 4 aliens who apparently do not come in peace and attack them. In order to get rid of them, they trust one and team up with Hannah, Bethany, and every other kid in tom's family to kill or at least get rid of the monsters and return home safely. Aliens in the Attic will be a huge hit with small children below the age of 10 but for older kids and definitely their parents? It will feel like a boring made for tv film with alot of genre cliches and bad cgi.
woodgateliam It's the kind of cheap CG kids film that's been done a thousand times before and this one is no different. The film is pretty bad when looking at it from most angles, but I admit it did get me a few times. The part where the kids control that guy was pretty funny for a few minutes.To be honest, this is one of those films where the developers said "Comedy first, everything else later." and this really shows when looking at the story line, CG, acting (especially for the adult characters) and the writing. But the actual comedy can be entertaining, they do try to keep the jokes fresh, even though by the end it gets very stale, the writers put the most effort into the jokes - everything else is just wrong somehow.When it's just humour, this is entertaining stuff, but when the plot is involved it just becomes a boring, cringy mess.
michaelnorman777 This movie literally blew the cobwebs out of my system i laughed so much along with my daughter - please do not listen to negative reviews of this movie -its daft and funny and meant to be that way and the characters really gel nicely.I know its for kids but i seen it twice in a week it is so funny.Just take a look and make your own view but i can highly recommend this esp as a family movie.There is some funky tunes in this movie too esp Dr Love by Donnie Klang.9 out of 10 for making you laugh,
kbowman-3 I confess that I don't understand the negative ratings for this film. Maybe you need to watch this film with your kids to appreciate it. Overall I found this a very enjoyable family film, with good work by some fine comic actors. Doris Neely is very funny. Andy Richter and Tim Meadows also give good comedic performances. And there are some moments of pure physical humor in this film that are genuinely laugh-out-loud funny. Robert Hoffman, as Ricky, gives an amazing physical performance that reminds me of a young Jim Carrey. I am surprised that more attention has not been paid to his movie-stealing performance. There are a handful of moments in this film that had the entire audience laughing uncontrollably. What more can you ask from a comedy? There are the kind of moments where your kids will ask you to rewind and watch it again. Why? You ain't seen nothing until you've seen Funky Ricky.
