This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.

This film was made in 2005. Note the $1.42 regular gas price. Frank (Derek Cecil) lost his right arm as a mall cop as window pane glass severed the bone too. Unable to secure another job, he returns to the mall and befriends Donna (Kathleen Robertson) the woman who took his place. She also works with W.W. (Nick Searcy) who has an on-line reality TV show called White Wedding which is a recording of him driving around playing the Billy Idol tune. Chris works at the music store and provides us with some comedy. This is a quirky movie, almost as if Asylum did a Magnolia film. It doesn't measure up the other films in this genre, yet is still enjoyable. W.W. becomes the antagonist in this tale, Good for a few laughs. Parental Guide: F-bomb. Implied sex. Rear nudity (Derek Cecil)

oh boy i saw this film last night thought it was a new film i wasn't expecting this to be a film from the last decade & year 2005 please beware that this film had nothing to do with Kevin James Film mall cop.this film is also called 51-50 mall cop don't know why the title change plus the makers are again releasing it in 2014 why so long i guess the money is not recovered sine hardly few people have seen it.the plot:frank is a mall guard who's hand is chopped off after the failed attempt to stop a burglar,in order to get his old job back frank begins his own investigation along with Donna who is a new replacement.the cast:the boys don't impress much but ladies do specially Jennifer Morrison & Kathleen Robertson who reminded me of Kate Bekinsale a lot.i just wish this movie had a big release and story should have been extended with more characters & the better climax the film includes little nudity & kissing scene thats about it so don't expect much, there are some moments which made me laugh but its one slow paced film hard to enjoy.Overall Mall Cop 2005 is a one time watch if you want to pass the time my rating is 4/10.

While this is listed as a comedy, don't expect it to be the kind of comedy that will have you bursting out in tears from laughing. No, this is more of a subtle and off-beat kind of comedy. But it still worked out nicely enough. The story is about a mall cop named Frank (played by Derek Cecil) who ends up losing his job because of a foul accident at work. Returning to his former workplace some time afterwards, Frank happens to meet his replacement at work, the new mall cop Donna (played by Kathleen Robertson) and a chance friendship starts to bloom. What makes this movie interesting is the odd characters, because they each had their own unique - and very distinctive - traits, which really helped the characters stand out on the screen. And the characters were nicely portrayed by the various actors and actresses in the movie. The storyline in "Mall Cop" is also good, not grand though. But it is entertaining and continuously progresses at a good pace."Mall Cop" was actually a nice surprise of a movie, and is well worth sitting down to watch.
