reallyevilboy Okay, so Horror movies I usually rate higher as there are so many terrible ones out there which lowers the bar. And there are so many great South Korean movies out there and so the bar raises again. I guess the grading curve evens out.I was hoping to like this, really hoping to like this and as it started it piqued my interest a little.Not enough though, the ending could have been a copy off a dozen other movies. Either Korean or Horror.The dream sequences irritated me, used to be jumpy, used to be quaint but at this stage in the game it's just used. Ghost grabbing, crawling, etc, look like doom and then you jump out of bed only to be attacked again, to only wake up again. And for the whole time you're staring at it well aware of their little trick and look, oh my they're doing it again!So a little disappointed that something that looked like it had a small amount of potential turned out to be a big Ol' Yawn.

Flow I wanted to like it and I made sure I would! Why? Because the crime touch was lovely, and gave this movie right here a different breeze, something new, something exciting, even tho it was not too hard to figure out, it still took me for a nice ride. If you want to see it, you shouldn't read too much into it, just let the element of surprise be present. It has some good moments to offer, some thinking to do, great visual parts, therefore it acts like it should do. Don't waste more time seeing if it is a worthy production or not, don't dig too deep or you might ruin it for yourself, take it, watch it and pass it along.29 February, a more different Asian horror than most, so my thanks go out to the brave people involved in the making of it, for the courage to show something more complex than your typical flick!Cheers!

Tokyo-1997 This is a very entertaining movie and rather original to me. There is a ton of twists and turns in this movie. This movie doesn't really rips off the ring, as blood and gore is used in this movie, even sharp knives. Giving the whole movie a brand new look. Female murderers used in movies are not very original if you have seen diary. But this movie is a lot more original and the storyline is awesome and very original too. The ending is where I give the movie most credit. Very unpredictable. To me, the best scene in the movie is the last twenty seconds of the film. This film is slow,repetitive and slightly draggy at certain parts. However, this movie is highly entertaining, with the climax coming towards the end. This movie may not be as entertaining as the better ones such as "Koma". This movie is more of a fantastic phsycological thriller than a horror movie. It plays in your mind. At the end of this film, I guarantee that you will be very satisfied. I will give this movie a very high score of 9/10.

Sabalon This was pretty easy to figure out from the beginning how it would end. Also many of the jump scenes were predictable. However, the rest of the story was actually pretty good, As others have said, the atmosphere was done very well in this film. Some of the camera shots they chose were rather interesting (in a good way). There is a short scene at the end of the film after the credits which actually had a very spooky feel to it.There are some shots which you could look at as being stolen from (or in tribute to) other j-horror movies.Other than that, not much really to say about this one way or the other.
