Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Wyatt There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
Harrison Tweed (Top Dawg) It's pretty lame when the lead actor Murphy Patrick Martin has to leave his own review alongside other fake reviews (probably cast members or producers). This was very slow and tedious, the directing was sub-par and the writing and acting was infantile. A high school drama class could have come up with a better production. How and why was this even made? 1/10
jennifercallow I'm a huge fan of romantic comedies and I'm glad I found this film. Not only does it have a love story that will pull at your heart strings but it has a stronger underlying message about chasing your dreams while facing self doubt, feeling like a loser and feeling stuck. And the two lead characters are great. Not only are they fun to watch but if you look closer, they symbolize the struggle that goes on inside any dream chaser's mind. The self doubt and negative outlook represented by Barnaby and the optimistic and strong will represented by Madison. Truly fantastic film.
martinezamparo Funny and entertaining romantic comedy. At some point everyone can relate to Barneby's character. Very captivating storyline. Must watch!!
csheff3 '29 to Life' is a classically endearing goofball comedy akin to a Bill Murray style hero getting his feet underneath him and finding a sense of direction in his otherwise cavalier life. If you're a fan of Happy Madison productions this will undoubtedly tickle your fancy as we watch Barnaby fall short of his career as a Chef and ruthlessly roast everyone who points that out (save for one kid who can dish it back) Personally, I found the real treasure of this film to be Diana Cristina. Her heartwarmingly charming portrayal of Madison really gets the story moving and gives you that classic foil, the real hero who brings out the good guy in every goofball! Some absolutely charming moments to a tale you know and love!
