BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Mehdi Hoffman There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
vhaenjes-13694 I initially didn't know what to expect from this series, but from the Pilot episode on, I was hooked. Granted, there are some points that give off the all too familiar "Friends" vibe, but I reckon that is rooted in the fact, that Friends was THE sitcom to watch for a decade. I would think, that The Exes, has the same potential. The characters are lovable and easily understood. (Mostly) employed and not sitting hours on end in a coffee house, while trying to figure out how to pay for their coffees. Personally, I love the premise of the strong, successful career woman showing compassion and kindness towards her "ex" clients, and them reciprocating. It's very grown-up. It's not tedious to watch unlike some shows, and the characters harmonize quite well, despite their quirks and flaws.I can't wait for a couple of more seasons!!! I am intrigued how much the Wedding might have changed or empowered Holly. :-)
S Ki Only thing working for this show is Johnson. The little chick can't act. The guys are all boring. And I gotta tell ya,adding Leah to the cast till johnson comes back is a big mistake.Gonna lose a million viewers.I love King of Queens.. to see Kevin James, Jerry Stiller....Leah sucks as an actress. I don't know what it is lately, but since hot in cleveland, happily divorced, the ex's,suits, white collar, shows along those lines seem to have a LOT of overacting in them. They all pretty much suck. I think the "actors" need to retire themselves. They aren't funny anymore.Bertinelli makes me want to throw up. I can't stand her.Reality shows also suck since the people are TOLD what to do.I liked Duck Dynasty thinking they were acting themselves till I found out they have to be told what the producers want. They all chew and they aren't allowed to on the show, besides other characteristics. So what I'm trying to say is... TV has gotten worse and it is really a useless tool to kill time. That's what the government wants you to do. Be so called entertained so we don't think of what's really going on in the country.
Pamela1610 With so many reality shows shoved in our face, and the few comedy shows out there that are so lame, and not worth the time watching, it's refreshing to finally watch a comedy show that delivers hilarity. I actually can't believe how funny "The Exes" is. Note: the first episode is not so good as it's just introducing the watcher to the premise, but once you get past it, it's non-stop laughter. Kudos to the writers. As for the actors, each one chosen well for each part. I thought the first season was great and couldn't do any better. Totally wrong. Second season rocked even more. There were times I had to pause the show as I couldn't stop laughing. Love the show and can't wait for the third season.
KevinMariblanca I won't necessarily write that this show is anything like Friends (let's be honest, what is?) or How I met Your Mother but still it has the comedy down. Kristen Johnson certainly carries most of the comedic element of this show. The Acting however could use to tone down a bit. There were scenes which gave goosebumps out of pure overacting. The writing needs a bit of work as well. Some lines were too cartoonish and too far off reality. But otherwise, if you want a good time and feel good after a hard day's work then this shows is good!
