Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

This show really made me go insane. Not only is it hilariously funny, the voice of Olly (Liam Lynch) is really nice. Not to say that Sifl's voice (Matt Crocco) isn't. If you just watch it once, you'll "fall in love" with the regulars: Sifl (black sock), Olly (the white sock), Chester (a little guy who thinks he's so cool but he's kind of, um, not), and Precious Roy (the guy that Sifl and Olly sell stuff for. One time, they're actually selling Olly I'd buy him. ;D ). Sifl and Olly is a show that MTV really missed out on by taking it off the air. They should have given it more time.

The humour in this show didn't tickle everyone's funny bone, butman, was it funny!!!! How can you NOT like a show where all thecharacters are college dude-voiced sock puppets, anyway? Onething I admired about this show is that it didn't depend so much ongross-out gags for laughs, ala South Park and Beavis AndButthead. The sets and the costumes were joyfully andside-splittingly cheesy. How about the "Calls, calls, calls, callsfrom the public" sock puppet with the giant phone dial behind him, being whacked on the noggin with a phone receiver?!!? Again, noteveryone "got" the humour of this show, but for me anyway, it wasout-and-out truly off-the-wall hilarious. I now give a tip o' the hat toPrecious Roy: "Buy my waffles! You guys are SUCKERS!!!!"

I used to watch this show with my grandmother when it was on. Everything about it was funny. Some of the particular parts that immediately stick out in my mind are the ones where Ollie sings about "the girl in the spooky car" (her name was Zanzibar), and the show where the robot sit-in sings "I Know What Boys Like" by the Waitresses. Precious Roy was of course a highlight because of his personality, but Calls From The Public was full of hilarious moments as well. And Chester was very cute. They really ought to revive this show, or at least show the reruns, on a network where it probably might be more appreciated and reach a wider audience, like Comedy Central.
