    Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
    Majorthebys Charming and brutal
Helllins It is both painfully honest and laugh-out-loud funny at the same time.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
tobyhubner The hosts were hilarious and really set the stage. This reminded me of horror hosts of old maybe like some of the early Roger Corman stuff, when Vincent Price narrated in a spooky and campy fashion. These are not just pasted together ultra low budget pieces but really well done material that looks award winning. The Nest is my favourite, but Doppelgänger and Amused took off in a surprising fashion as well. Hard to find this level of filmmaking quality in Indie horror, the special effects rock/CGI rocks too I continue to be amazed at the special effects being generated by Indie films, I find them more interesting actually then the mega effects that seems to hammer you mercilessly, I prefer not to say simpler effects but more originals less industrial effects, an intimacy to them that gives the horror a scarier a feel,a more intimate feel. I highly recommend!
Mark Thornton Comedy and horror...beer-drinking and blood-baths...what more could you ask for? This set of short films is punctuated by host segments featuring a couple of good old boys and their smoking hot assistant Lulu. The format reminds me of the old MonsterVision on TNT or Mystery Science Theater 3000 (except with better films!). If you enjoy flipping through the channels late at night to discover new film you've never seen before, you will enjoy this. We're coming up on Halloween, and this is a perfect fit for a laid-back evening of quality short films. Watched on Amazon, and it looks like part of a series, so if the filmmakers release any more of these, I will definitely continue watching.
pattysmiley1 I have to say firstly, I wasn't sure what to expect from this show. The DVD box looks like a mad version of a Scooby Doo poster. The DVD box itself is quite the treat if you're into wacky DVD art. Anyway, I watched the DVD of Volume 1 and I was honestly blown away. The hosts are are throwback to Joe Bob Briggs, but much better and the wrap around with the hosts actually has a story-line, which I found refreshing. Love the films, which are all award winning horror shorts. Amazing the quality of films. A few even look like they were made by studios. I highly recommend this title and so far I've seen 4 of the episodes and they each get better and better. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this crew puts out.
Walt Anderson I grew up with horror hosts as a teen, and this show brings back some great memories! I watched online on Vimeo and wasn't sure what I'd be getting. I was VERY surprised. The hosts are hysterical, and Lulu is absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to see all the volumes (only seen 1 so far), but it's fantastic. You MUST see The Nest! You won't believe the CGI. Amazing for a short film. Franky and the Ant I'd seen before at a film fest, but is is well worth watching again. Doppelgänger and Amused are both very entertaining. Really just a fun, nostalgic show that's well done. If you love indie horror then you have to give this show a look. Every horror fan needs to check out this series.
