    ThiefHott Too much of everything
    Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Salubfoto It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
Phillipa Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
Sentinel-15 Being a fan of the original series (and yes, the toys as well) I was thrilled to see this new series. It is brilliant! It reinvents the old characters and manages to stay true to its origins. Finally these "masters of the universe" deliver action living up to their title. Skeletor at last is the powerful menacing character he should be. He-Man is the good-hearted force of nature he always was, slightly updated for these times. And then I hear about its cancellation. Say what?! The inmates are running the asylum, it would seem. Why cancel it?! This series has so much potential... What is wrong with people?!Bring it back! It showed so much promise!
Mr_Garak WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!He-Man is back for the 21st Century, after the failed attempt to bring him back during the very early 1990's and that whole traveling to the future nonsense, mattel/myp brought he-man back to his roots and did a kick-a** job in the process.forget Transformers, they've wasted too many oppertunities to bring Transformer back to it's greatness, He-Man delivers a non kiddyfied 22 minute toy commercial filled with great action and brilliant voice acting and animation. This show totally blows the original out of the water, they've updated almost all of the characters but kept them looking like they did in the original show and improved on the characterization, Skeletor is totally evil in this new series having originally been called Keldor who attempted to steal the powers of the elders had his face burnt off by acid ment for captain randor, he fled back to snake mountain with his minions and was trapped in the dark hemisphere for many years because of the mystic wall created by the sorceress and man at arms, but was destroyed by Skeletor and his minions who where now free to conquer the light side of eternia and steal the elders power, unknown to skeletor the Elders had transformed themselves into pure energy and had been hidden away in castle greyskull since Keldors defeat many years ago, another factor to add is that Kobra Khan is not a part of Skeletors minions this time infact he has his own agenda to free King Hiss who was imprisoned within the void deep inside Snak Mountain by the elders and the mystic Zodak who's brother was killed by King Hiss, Snake Mountain was originally built by King Hiss's snake army as a fortress to launch a full scale invasion of eternia from.another factor to add is the flash back of Hordak who this time does not appear to be a Cyborg who can shape shift into rockets and other thing, but insted seems to be a Warlord who also seemed bent on ruling eternia, but so far has only made a cameo appearance in a flash back, but rumors say that the Horde may show up near the end of season 2 or early season 3. an excellent series to enjoy whether you're young or older a fan of the original or a new fan, masters of the universe does not disapoint, unlike a certain other Transformers series which fails to impress again and again.
BlazeFox Yeah yeah, another "new" show for Cartoon Network to flaunt, just like Transformers Armada, both are updates of classic 80's shows which are just now becoming popular again because of the trendy retro movement (just like the 70's flashback in the 90's, and the 50's comeback in the 70's, see a pattern yet? I can only imagine what ungodly horrors they'll bring back for 2010 when the 90's become retro trendy. Yeesh! Perhaps MTV's "Real World: the animated series" will hit Cartoon Network eh?)Well anyways back on topic. The animation is new and crisp with some noticible hints of CGI. I like shows that mix CGI and cell animation. Sonic X, Ghost In The Shell:SAC, and Zoids do this and it looks cool. So this is an okay show. If you're 12 years old and don't know that a similar show existed in the 80's.My big problem with the show.. Battle Cat. Why is he so silent? Oh! Thats write, the writers for the "new" show were aiming for a more adolescent audience and they figured that a talking tiger was just to childish and mythical for a cartoon show! And magic, telepathy, transformations, talking bees, birdmen and all those other things aren't? STUPID WRITERS!! *SMAAAACK!*But of course you have to expect atleast one or two screw ups from a re-make. Lets just hope the folks making the new Knight Rider movie don't decide that a talking Trans Am is too childish for an audience.Or else I, and a million other KR fans will be upset.
Ericho When I first found out of this show called "He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe", it looked pretty cool, and the episodes I saw were cool! But then, I realized the plot was stupid, and now I'm noticing some pretty wierd things about the series. For example, how come Skeletor only has like half of his forces when he battles?! In an episode when like he, Tri-clops, Evilyn, Whiplash and Beast Man are fighting He-man, where in the world is Merman, Clawful and TrapJaw? Why doesn't Skeletor use all his forces?!It wasn't until the belt electricuting episode that I realized something, the same thing happens in every episode!!! Skeletor gets his men to fight He-Man, they lose, Skeletor goes laughing while running away, and that's all, folks! Man! Why do people complain about repetiveness in "Pokemon"? ("Pokemon" is a great show, Team Rocket are the coolest villains ever, so I don't care if they're in every episode)Oh, boy! If they saw the repetiveness in He-Man, they would go nuts!!Also, the characters are stupid as well. He-Man's friends are mostly stereotype characters, especially Ram-Man. Beast Man is an ugly, butt-faced moron who should fall in a lava pit for Skeletor's sake. Merman...where has he gone? He was only there for like two or three episodes, than vanished. Skeletor probably threw him in the lava pit. Now, I must admit, there is a good character, and that's Orka! Orka rocks!!! Give this guy a show of his own!I wish I could see the original "HMATMOTU" to see if it's better. Anyway, stay away from this show. Watch "Justice League" or "Dragonball Z" for a good Cartoon Network action show.
