Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Iseerphia All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
Walter Sloane Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Perrorist I suppose I shouldn't have watched this straight after watching The Fall, but I doubt that would have made much difference to my appreciation of this short series. The script was a major letdown. Dialogue and characterisattion were abysmal, and the total lack of narrative tension left me feeling I'd wasted four hours of my life for no good reason. Ah well, c'est la vie.
sarahpike415 One star is as low as it goes so I guess that's for the actors. I can't give them anymore credit than that because this story is pure garbage. How sad the writers must be, so downtrodden and depressed to think that this is what the world is like! Each character in this show except the white cop is more about their demographics than their actual character (the stuff on the inside that can't be defined and delineated by ANYONE). Contrary to the belief on the left, it is entirely possible to be more than your race/sex/sexuality/religion/political view. but as long as shows like this continue to say that our identity is all that matters and all that can matter, nothing will actually change. So I call this a crap show, not worth the time it took for me to write an informed review. Oh, and there's no way to have spoilers, it's obvious this is a political statement and not a tv show
ehab2015 The around 6 rating on IMDB for this show might concern many, but after reading the most of bad reviews is based on the political message of the show, which I can say that the creators were not even trying to hide it, but as a Mini Series it's really good and recommended, as pure art, acting and directing I gave it a 7/10, and because I like and support the political message here I gave it the extra one -I'm honest here- :D
burghboyb-675-794117 Spin Spin Spin. An interesting concept got green-lighted. Once the writers and director had their budget it was time to bludgeon the viewer with as much indoctrination as would fit in four episodes. They took their shots at conventional marriage proponents, Israel, America, America's involvement in the middle east, but mostly - and endlessly - immigration patriots. The most likeable character was - wait for it - a Labour politician! At least it was unveiled in this presentation. American network programming has been spinning like this, in a far more subtle way, for two generations. It was well-acted and filmed.
