It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

This series aired under two names, "Camal News Caravan" ad "Plymouth News Caravan". They were the same show but with different sponsor (Camel cigarettes, and Plymouth automobiles). Despite some rather crass commercialism, the program, on occasion, could report the news with some intelligence and sophistication. Most episodes are long lost, but there is a episode circulating online which features the following news stories: The death of Albert Einstein, the testing of new military stuff (I forget exactly what), and of course interviews with High School teenagers on how well they think desegregation was going. The news is presently decently, and actually has better production values than the evening news in many "developed countries" (I hate that term).
